The flip side of building muscle is reduced flexibility. This is why you should definitely incorporate some stretching into your routine. You could do a yoga video twice a week or you could just do a few yoga poses after each workout.
I'm not doing the shred, but I hate how inflexible I am. I make it a point to stretch in bed a few times a week (my FI lives in Georgia so it's not really a weird thing for me to be stretching there, haha) and it helps relax me a little, too. I also make it a point to take a real how bath about once a week and stretch real deep. You have to do it when you're warm for the best results.

Has anybody else noticed a reduction in their flexibility since starting the Shred? I feel like I can't stretch my legs the way I used to, and I tried to do some yoga today and felt really really stiff. Does anyone have an added stretching routine or recommendations? I feel like the cooldown on the video does not offer adequate stretching time to loosen up...and I try to stretch on my own but I still feel really stiff.
