    Hi Ladies,

It seems like many people, myself included, have started the 30 Day Shred within the last few days. I thought we could make a post and keep each other updated on what level we're on, and how we're doing - and of course, help each other keep motivated when we just don't want to do another video!

I started yesterday, Feb 3, and this morning I completed Day 2 of Level 1.

Where are you ladies at?  Are you in for this challenge?

(You don't have to have started yet to join - jump on the wagon and let's see where it goes!)

I just started too! You're right, lots of people have just started. I finished day 2 of Level 1 yesterday! I was going to do it this morning but I am soooo sore! Man, that stuff really gets you going! I didn't think I was going to be so sore, but my goodness! This morning I just did sit ups because I don't think I'm going to be able to do the shred until tonight.

I'm trying to watch what I'm eating but some foods are still so good! My thought is, if I'm staying at the same weight with me eating the foods I am...then I should be able to work out & lose some weight...hopefully. But, I'm not following that completely. I'm trying my hardest to eat "healthier". I want to be toned for my wedding next month & for my honeymoon!!!

I'll jump on board! I think it's a great idea to have one centralized post where we can talk, I've noticed it gets a bit spread out over other topics.

I'm on day 17 of the Shred, and still at Level 2. I missed my first day of it since beginning last night, but I did ride for an hour and do some cardio later. Today I'll be back at it!

I know what you mean about food - I feel like so much of it is portion control (which I am not very good at...)  At least I feel like with the Shred if I'm eating like I normally do, something GOT to happen...right?? ;)

@PrincssDva - the 30 Day Shred, a 20 minute workout video with Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. It's great!

I'm on Level 2.  No idea what day I'm on because I don't do the shred everyday.  I'm doing it 4-5 times a week and I'm also doing the c25k, so that takes up my other days.  Sometimes I do them both on the same day. I've been doing my routine for almost 4 weeks now. Between running and the shred, I've definitely noticed a difference in how toned I am.  I'm also dieting and have lost a few pounds as well.  I tried the Shred November of last year without dieting or running, and I did get stronger and my arms got toned, but I didn't lose any weight.  I definitely think some sort of diet is needed to see a change on the scale with the shred.  Happy shredding everyone!

I am on a 30 day shred strike. Wish I could join. I loved it, was really feeling the workout. That was until an injury from the Shredder. Good luck girls.

Agree with Boston Bee on the dieting thing to loose weight. The shred is awesome to tone...I'm a big foodie by the way, so just simple things like cutting out the snapples and cokes I drank every day, switching from maple brown sugar oatmeal to regular, eating a bit healthier, and cutting down on the drinking, has already dropped me a few pounds.

FYI, if you need a change in the Shred routine, there are FREE exercise shows on Comcast (on demand) including other Jillian Michaels stuff. There are also some good kickboxing/cardio workouts by Jeanette Jenkins on there that I like.

i keep seeing everyone's posts about the shred, i think i'm going to go to borders during lunch today and buy it (yay 33% off coupon!). i've started going to the gym almost every day about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and i can see a little difference so, but not much yet, so maybe mixing in the dvd will help!

I finished Day 3 last night on level 1!  I love it!  Though, after the first night, i started muting the TV and listening to my Pandora station which I created to play Broadway/The Beatles/Disney Movie Soundtracks.  Best station ever.  Makes it easier to get through for me.  Anyone notice that the girl on the left sometimes thinks the camera isn't on her, so she stops doing whatever the move is?  Gave me a good giggle.  :)

Haha @mrs: I did notice that the last time! They were all supposed to be squatting down doing some type of exercise, and she stopped for a minute and just stayed squatted with her legs bent, without doing the exercise! Haha, I thought that was funny!

I just got the Shred in the mail yesterday along with No More Trouble Zones.  I've done shred before "on demand" back when I had cable and it kicked my butt so I decided to order it along with the trouble zones video.  I'm starting it tonight, going to do the shred 5 times a week and Trouble Zones 2 times a week.

I just started it yesterday! I was skeptical that I could actually get a good workout in 20 min, but damn! It is intense!  Hoping to go home and do it again tonight before dinner with friends (so I don't feel too guility about that glass of wine tonight!)  Good to see we are all sweating through it together! Good luck on your fitness endeavors ladies!!!

I just started 30 day shred yesterday! I'm going to try and do it 3x a week and run/elliptical the other 3 days. I didn't think it would be that hard but I was definitely working up a sweat! I'm looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.

I am excited that everyone else is doing this too!  I started on Sunday and haven't missed a day yet.  I didn't know if I would be able to finish it, but I have every time I do it.  My biceps have made a come back which makes me happy, now I am waiting on my stomach to disappear.

I bought the Video Download of the 30 Day Shred this morning, excited to start it tonight! I don't really have much weight to lose, but I'd like to tone up for the wedding & honeymoon :) I have 6 months to go, so it can't hurt to try this for a month!

Just started today - and my poor arms!

I have to wonder though -  they say it takes 20 min of cardio for your body to actually burn excess calories. I'll probably supplement this with my usual running schedule, for strength and toning.

We'll see how she goes though :D I do like Jillian, she's a fantastic hard ass - just what I need!

I've been doing some extra cardio, and my normal horseback riding.

I've also been doing some of the moves from level 1 just to keep toning and seeing results.

Day 2 of level 1...wow. I can't believe how intense it is! I was able to make it through without stopping today, which I couldn't do the first day. It feels so good to push myself though!

tried to do my third day of the shred level one today and got really dizzy and thought i was going to pass out. I felt sick before i started but i did not think much about it. I was just in the 1 set of abs and seriously freaked out. i thought i was going to pass out. I dont know what my deal was...turned it off and layed down. kinda scared me. I ate plenty today so i dont know what happened. guess i will have to get up early tomorrow and go to gym and do the shred :D

Has this happened to anyone else?

It happened to me once when I was shredding really late at night. I was already a little tired and headachey, and it was on level 2 where there's a lot of up and down with the walking push ups and whatnot. I have low blood pressure anyway, so I'm more prone to feeling faint. I took a break and then kept going and I was fine, but I probably shouldn't have... I'd say, in the future just make sure you're well-rested and your blood sugar is high enough before you start.

I've been alternating the Shred and Boost Your Metabolism and have seen a change in tone, especially in my arms and legs. SO hard - "I want you to feel like you're going to die"

@bostonbee - how do you like C25K? Have you seen weight loss from it? I've been toning a lot but haven't seen the numbers on the scale, which can be frustrating

I just got up at 5:20 am to do it - the male roommates prevent me from doing it after work.

Day 2 of level one, and I am way more sore than I anticipated that I'd be. My energy level is through the roof though. :D
