Poor intl students, second marriage, little number guests…all feature low budget 1K. I used up almost all for other things: rings, dresses, chapel rental, buffet reception…I have $30 left for a chapel decor. Crying!
What I already own: 200 tea light candles, more than 10 glass jars(different sizes and shapes), lots of pine cones in backyard, countryside tablecloth 1.
I have to decor the chapel and maybe the only reception table within $30. Do you think is that possible?!
Give me some ideas please…

how about putting snowy pinecone candle jars on the side of the aisle or use them as centerpiece?
Maybe you can make something like this?
You can also use pinecones for table settings like this http://www.handmakerofthings.com/.a/6a0120a8026eb3970b0167619e52bb970b-pi

Will there be no extra income by the wedding? If not….may used glitter spray paint on some pretty pine cones and use those with the tealights? They have fake fall leaves at the dollar tree(I’m assuming fall theme since you said pinecones) You really don’t want to be down to your last bit of money and using that for decor.

Yep, the pine cones are definitely worth using, and perfect for a November wedding! Could you use one of the ideas from the previous posters above, or:
– Tie two pinecones together & then tie them on each side of the aisle on the benches/chairs
– Hand paint the pine cones if you want certain colors (a la https://www.flickr.com/photos/toriejayne/6377244035/in/photostream)
– Use the pine cones in your wedding bouquet (not sure if that’s already covered or not)
I found a pinterest filled with pine cone decorations. Maybe check it out for some inspiration!
Oh, and a quick tip – I saw on one of the pins a reminder to “bake the bugs out” of your pine cones – probably something to remember!
Good luck and congratulations!

OhHoney: Great idea for the jar with pine cone! Thank you it looks great!

JerNCher: Thank you! Would the glitter spray color be better than original color of pine cone? I will try:)

geneva2: Thank you so much especially for the last tip!! Haha. I will start collecting pine cones recently. And good idea for tie them on the pew. However since I only have 15 guests or less, they will only occupy three rows at most. My chapel is 10 rows! Do you think I should decorate every row?

jessica20141124: Totally up to you! It doesn’t really matter either way of course 🙂 not the thing people will be focusing on — they’ll be focused on you two getting married!

You can also get rolls of tulle on eBay for under 10$ for 25 metres, could make some bows or draping for the aisle.
