So we may be changing the date of our honeymoon which was originally 3 months after our wedding, We’ve decided to cut down on the time away so we can afford it sooner. 🙂
Playing with dates, I noticed that we could actually go away & celebrate my 30th birthday during our honeymoon. I thought it was a great idea…Fiance was a little dubious.
Would you celebrate your 30th during your honeymoon or prefer to keep the 2 x celebrations separate?

Well honeymoon and bday can be done together in my opinion. You’ll have all the other bdays to celebrate with other people!
I’d just keep the wedding and the bday separate! lol

I don’t think this is a big deal. I wouldn’t change other plans for an adult birthday.

I celebrated my 30th birthday whilst on our European trip. It wasn’t our honeymoon but it did end up being our engagement tour! I will say it was a touch strange, it didn’t feel like a typical birthday because there wasn’t presents, card and cake… but it was also really fun. We were in Paris so we went to all the spots I wanted to visit. The only let down was the evening – we were in Monmartre and thought that we could find a really cute bistro for dinner, like we had done every other night in Paris, but it was just too touristy there!
My advice would be to book a special dinner that night – or even just some time at the champagne bar in the Eiffel tower 🙂

we will be celebrating FI’s (Then H)32nd birthday on our honeymoon and didn’t think twice about it. we decided to postpone our honeymoon one week so we could take advantage of memorial day holiday and take fewer days off work. I think it will be fun to celebrate his birthday on our honeymoon!

i think it sounds great. we’ll be just coming back from our honeymoon in time for my birthday, which sounds not great. lol

I’ll be celebrating my 27th birthday during our honeymoon. I’m psyched! It’s not a milestone birthday like your 30th, but I still think it will be so much fun to be newlyweds in a romatic and beautiful place during my birthday. You can always celebrate with your friends when you return- twice the fun!

yes, i am liking the idea very much – i think i was a bity put out with FI’s reaction. But he is one who celebrates a birth’week’ planning each night with a diffgroup of friends / family!

We’ll be celebrating my 28th. I’m stoked. We’re planning a beachside dinner and Fiance says he has a present planned…I’m sure the resort can find a candle 🙂

We celebrated my 31st on our honeymoon. Not quite the same but I had no complaints! We used it as an excuse to book a private dinner that night.
