Here is what I have ordered. What do you think? Does it need anything else? Is it sexy/sophisticated/cute enough for the birthday girl at 30? Does it need earrings? Bracelets?

Dress, shoes, and a necklace/sleeve that I am having made. There will be no red on it, though.

@HappilyEverAfter54: Thanks so much!! I was looking at this dress, but it just isn't really me. I ws afraid that it would be too tight. I still want to be ME, if that makes any sense.

I saw that necklace/sleeve thingy and knew that i wanted one. I was immediately off to find the perfect one shoulder dress lol

@HappilyEverAfter54: Thanks so much...YEAHH!! I didn't want to overwhelm the necklace thingy with too bold of a print. I am excited. Do you think that a belt would help or hurt?

@PrncssDva: I wouldn't wear a belt just because of the ruffles on the neckline/shoulder. I like the simple elegance of the outfit =)

So I really love the whole concept, but there are a couple things I would change.

Since you really want to keep that necklace (which is so cool btw), I think you need a more slim-line dress. I think the ruffles around the neckline wouldn't give quite the same effect that you are probably looking for. I think something like this might work a bit better. I also love the shoes you picked, but I'm not really a fan of jewels on the front.

And fyi, I didn't vote "What were you thinking?"

    I hope this helps Smile

I think it's cute! I'm not crazy about the shoes, though. They look a little too formal for the dress. I think it's the jewels on them.

I would pick something simplier like a platform pump or more edgy like this:

But that's just my style. :)

@Koala Bear: I saw that dress, but I have too much booty. lol I don't want the hoochie look. I want to look sophisticated and stick with my style, if that makes any sense.

@RayRayFurious: Those are kinda cute. I just wanted something with a little pop, since it's my birthday. it's been really hard finding what I was looking for.
