I’m 35 weeks (36 on Friday) and I last night my upper back was hurting really bad, it came and went and I hauled myself out of bed and walked around and it felt a little better so I laid down again. Then, my whole belly started hurting, but never got hard. That pain came and went about every 10-20 minutes ( yeah, I was up for a long time). I drank some water and finally got back to sleep. I woke up around 7 and sat down to watch tv, its now about 9:15 and my stomach pain is still coming about every 10-20 minutes but still not getting hard.
anybody have an idea what could be going on? I have an ultrasound apt this afternoon but its not with my dr, I won’t see him till Friday.
Actually, as I’m typing this, i got another pain that is more intense and wrapped around to my back. I would say its contractions, but its just pain, no tightening up.

@Fall_In_Love22: I would get to a hospitaldoctor office immediately. Better to be safe than sorry. Any kind of regular pains like that should really be looked at

I agree with the PP. I’m 32 weeks, and my OB says that if anything is happening 4 times an hour to call, even just 4 BH in an hour. Call your OB or just go to the hospital.

@Fall_In_Love22: I’m a first time mom and not due till December but from all the birth stories I’ve read, that sounds like it could be back labor. I would at the very least call your doctor. Go in if it continues.

@Fall_In_Love22: something to keep in mind is that labor pain is different for everyone. My mother had no pains at all in her abs it was all in her back and felt nothing like what I was describing when I was in labor with my son. so please go get looked at.

Thanks for the responses! Shortly after I posted, the pain stopped. I’m leaving for my ultra sound apt in a few minutes so I’m going to talk to the nurse and see what they say. Hopefully it’s nothing and little girl stays put for a few more weeks.
