I got off work yesterday and decided to go get some flowers to do my Bridal and Bridesmaids bouquets. I got so caught up in my centerpieces that I almost forgot to make my bridal flowers. I have 4 Bridesmaids. I made mine, 4 bridesmaids and 1 toss bouquet for $36 bucks at a store called ‘Old Time Pottery’, no sale prices! What helped keep my prices low is my love for Hydrangea, they give so much volume and add lots of dimension. I added some cream and lavender roses also. I made all of them in about 2 hrs. I used a heavy duty wire cutter and zip ties to keep them together while I shaped them.
I wrapped my Bridal Bouquet in the shawl that came with my dress, It came in handy because I didn’t plan to wear it anyway. I also attached a custom dog tag gifted to me by my aunt that has my fathers photo etched on one side and a message saying “I’m with you every step of the way” on the other. I just love my bouquet and I can’t wait to carry it for so many reasons. This is my best DIY so far!
Here are the Bridesmaids Bouquets. They just have the zip tie right now, but I will wrap them with the sash that come with their dresses on the day of the wedding. No Pics of the toss bouquet but it looks just the same and the bridesmaids bouquets just a bit more narrow.
