I am wanting to wear my curly hair in a low updo for the big deal. I can't decide what type of hair.

I love this one:(from mbewsey on Etsy)

3D or Flat Flower? : wedding Lilachairflower

It is a 3d flower, like half a circle I guess.  A lady at work said that might look weird in my hair.  What do you ladies think?  Do you think a flat flower would be better?  Anyone have a non flat flower picture to show me?

I would say go for the 3 D one if you like it.  I think it's cute.

I don't understand why it would look weird. I don't think I have ever seen a flat hair flower.

Don't kill me for this comment, but for some reason the tulle and the way the photo is taken makes it look almost like a loofah...you know for the bath.  I don't know why I just thought of that, but I did.

Lol!  My friends do that to me all the time with certain things and then I can never look at them the same way again.  I bet that's what your co-worker was thinking, but couldn't bear to tell you.  Thank goodness for the anonymity of the internet, I'm braver than I should be Smile

I'm glad you said something, but you're right- now all I see if loofah! I like the Handle and Spout flowers that Miss Dolphin talked about, but I was just trying to save money.

What's your thought on colored versus white?

I say a 3d flower is fine! But I do agree that this one you posted sorta does look like a loofah, but maybe it's different in person? Any other options to show us?

@Kiki82 I haven't found anymore I really like except Handle and Spout ones, I can't put the picture up because I'm at work and the computer is being difficult.

Miss Dolphin talked about them here:

@Helstrong - I'm still new to this whole weddingbee thing, so I just figured out how to get to Miss Dolphin's blog and those Handle & Spout flower things are totally un-loofah like and the single's seem priced quite nicely ($20?).....they look stunning!  I say go for it.  As for coloured versus white, I think coloured pops pretty nicely.  Both are great choices.

@Starbee- I think the Handle and Spout variety with the three different purple ones is pretty darn cute. I like it better than the single white one just becuase they are smaller. I think I'll go with those!

    Thanks for the help :)
