Your a good wife! 3D sonograms also creep me out. My best friend’s sister in law offered to give us one for free, I turned it down. I would rather dream about what my baby will look like than see him/her all squished up and sepia colored.

Hahah I also hate them and didn’t want one at all! We were at our anatomy ultrasound and the tech was like “I’ll just switch over to the 3D wand for a minute here so you can get a better look!” and I said no … but DH wanted to see so we did it. Baby definitely looked like a horror movie monster. Thankfully she had her hand in front of her face so I didn’t have to have nightmares Tongue Out

My little guy looked like an alien…It made no sense at all. I asked the tech to switch back to 2D. LOL!

I like them but I’m a total tech geek so I think they’re cool. My OB admitted she thinks they’re a little creepy looking and DH isn’t a fan either. He likes them better when you’re way further along but the initial ones (e.g. 12w U/S) creeped him out.

If people want them, more power to them–I just wish they wouldn’t put them on Facebook.

They creep me out too. I don’t have the heart to tell the hundred peopke I know who have had them done though. I just look at their dough baby blabbing about amazing technology blah blah blah…..

I’m sure your dough baby will be the cutest one you’ve ever seen!

As a rule these freak me out…it always looks like the baby is trying to eat its way out or something….

I find them utterly creepy. My daughter in law is expecting my second grandchild next month (a little boy!) and I’m so pleased that her and my son feel the same way. I’d hate to have to come over all enthusiastic when what I’d really want to do is run for the hills…

@EffieTrinket:  I agree. My friend has one as her profile picture and I hate seeing that little alien pop up in my news feed. If she loves it, great! But it creeps me out.

Luckily my fiancé feels the same way I do so I probably don’t ever have to worry about getting one.

I think the technology of it is wicked cool.

I think unborn babies are creepy looking in general, so.. yeah.
