Seems like there have been a slew of proposals the last few days. I’ll add mine to it. After three and a half wonderful years together, my SO proposed to me. We spent the last few days out at his family’s cabin out of cell service, TV and internet.
We went on a 15 mile hike in Oregon along a river on Wednesday. We were about 4 or 5 miles in when I had to stop to get some of the rocks out of my shoe. When I stood back up and asked if he was ready to keep going, he said, “Yes, but there is something I need to ask you first.” He pulled the ring out of his backpack and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was perfect.
Thank you to all you bees who helped keep me (semi)sane during this period in my life. And of course, obligatory pictures:
