- Wedding: April 2014
We have to shut everything down at 10:00. Our wedding is in Panama City Beach this April and I have had anxiety over the start time. I wanted to base my wedding off the sunset at 7:00, but that leaves very little time for the reception. So we decided to start at 4:30, have the cocktail hour 5-6 (which we will be able to attend a half hour of after family pictures from 5:00-5:30. Super excited!) then get introduced, have our 1st dance and start dinner from 6-6:30. My fiance and I are going to slip away at 6:30 while guests finish their dinner for the sunset pictures since the beach is accross the street from the house. It is a very small wedding, about 40 guests.
Anyways, is 4:30 too early on the beach? We were thinking we could do 5, but then everything gets a little more crammed, less wiggle room and we can’t join in for cocktail hour. Thoughts?
