That dress is so gorgeous!! With the modifications you mentioned, it will absolutely be more conservative (which it sounds like is what you are  going  for).

How do you feel in it? I think that if you love it and are comfortable then you should wear it!

letmebeeme :  I wasn’t loving the idea of loose sleeves until you said opera gloves…sounds like your going for a Downton Abbey look? I think it will look great!

letmebeeme :  I think a very narrow trumpet would complement the dress best (especially for a winter wedding). Are you thinking of having the sleeves as an extension of the lace or tulle?
