So it’s 5 days before our wedding and 2 days before we fly out to Vegas and I could not feel more bleh about everything right now! I am so excited and anxious that I can’t even enjoy this last week. I’m afraid I’m going to look back on this and be sad that I didn’t enjoy it more. Planning a detestation wedding has it’s drawbacks and I’m really starting to see them. We are web casting our wedding online through the resort for our families who couldn’t make it. We looked at a few of the webcast from other weddings and I cried in horror looking at some of the ridiculous weddings. I guess the majority of people who get married in Vegas just don’t care about how they want to get married. I saw a wedding where all the groomsmen and the groom wore shorts while the bride wore a dress that was 4 sizes too small. The family looked like they could care less and don’t even get me started on the cheesy lounge singer minister. I’m not trying to sound mean but just because we are getting married in Vegas does not mean we don’t take our wedding seriously. We chose this hotel because we heard about the amazing weddings they have. Apparently the weddings we watched are not those weddings. I’m sure I sound awful right now but not being able to see the exact decorations and location of our wedding has got me in a tizzy! I have always been adventurous but this may have been pushing it too far. My wedding planner has assured me that not every wedding looks like that and they chose a very small package. Fingers crossed it all turns out well!! Thanks for listening to my ridiculous rant! 🙂

@SteffieDelmonico: Why do you try and grab a good nights sleep, it sounds like you’re more exhausted than anything. Vegas weddings are like weddings everywhere in that they can be rediculous or beautiful, it’s all in the people who are getting married. It sounds like you have planned everything very well to have a classy, memorable, and fun wedding (no shorts involved!). It’s also very considerate that you are wedcasting it for people that can’t be there in person. Relax and have fun you have it all arranged perfectly and your hotel/venue are professionals at doing weddings (most in Vegas are) so you’re in good hands. Can’t wait to see pics!
