My veil arrived today, and it’s beautiful!! However…I think I need to wait for my dress and try it on with that, because as of right now, I’m not loving my veil as much as I thought I did when I ordered it, and I’m a little annoyed at myself. Now all of a sudden I want it longer (I ordered elbow length)…I’m going to try and be patient so I don’t waste too much money changing my mind about tons of things lol.
I honestly don’t know if it’s because I tried it on w/o my dress..or my hair isn’t done, or what, but I just didn’t love it like I thought I would. UGH!!!! patience…patience…

Oh thank god! I thought I was the only one. Every time I spend money on something I change my mind. I started on DIY stamped marble coasters and 50 coasters later, I want CDs. I am relieved to know I am not the only one. However, I’m so nervous about changing my mind that I have put off decisions all together for now. You must feel so sane after my crazy ranting post! Lol. I’m sure your veil is beautiful. Elbow length veils are always seem fun and fresh to me. Good luck on the rest of the planning!

You are not alone, but I say stick with the original purchase, unless the quality fo the purchase looks cheap. It’s just a waste of money to keep buying and then changing your mind, espeically if you can’t return it, and there is no guarantee that you can sell it before or after the wedding.
I ran into this problem with my jewelry, I bought the jewerly before I had my wedding dress. Now that I have my dress I can not wear a necklace with it since its a one shoulder strap. So now I am trying to sell the first set of bridal jewelry on here, and had to spend more money on a pair of earrings and a necklace. Its frustrating, money does not grow on trees, and every opps purcahse effects the budget we are trying to stick too.

You guys are right! I just need to stick with what I was thinking of, because I definitely do not have money to keep changing my mind. That’s the only reason why I’m waiting until next month to DIY my invites, because I like what I have now, but I don’t want to waste a bunch of nice paper stamping my invites, and then not loving them and having to order MORE paper..which then defeats the purpose of trying to save money by DIY!! lol.

@mishagirls79: I hope that you have been able to sell your jewelry..I just sold veil #2, and I’m sticking with the original veil I bought. In general, I think I should not have bought the veil until I had my dress in hand, so I could really see what I wanted..same goes for jewelry. i think I got certain “visions” stuck in my brain of what I wanted certain things to look like, w/o any regard for what they would look like WITH the dress. Just got a little ahead of myself I think….*sigh*
