I am so ready for it to be here, but my head is spinning a little.
I have to finish my DIY projects, namely escort cards, programs, and menus. Dress fittings are going well and my hair trial was a blast. RSVPs are rolling in, but we are still short 69 responses and the seating chart is starting to intimidate me. Wedding Weight Loss is slow but steady, and that's all I can ask for.
I am really glad we're delaying the honeymoon. I don't think I could handle planning a vacation right now.
I think Mermaid said it best! I have been engaged for 17 months and I am so ready for the wedding to be here! At the same time there is so much to right now that it's overwhelming.
Here's some things that are going on in my world right now:
-RSVP deadline is in a week and we still have around 45 people that we have not heard back from. I am stressing over this and trying to decide how I am going to obtain e-mail or phone numbers for distant relatives that we don't hear from.
-DIY projects. Trying to commit myself to them now so I am not doing them the week before the wedding. It's tough doing these when you live with an attention whore cat! :)
-Thursday (tommorow) FI and I have a walk through at our venue on the calendar. The walk through will be with our catering contact, site manager and our DOC. I need to make sure all the paper work is correct and in order tonight.
-Meeting with pastor next week so we need to complete our questionnaires that he gave us.
Essentially I could go on and on! I have a big long to do list on google docs right now. Things are moving forward and I am lucky because FI is really trying to help me out.
Oh, yes! We have been engaged since last June and I am so ready for it to be HERE! lol. Luckily we have everything. All we need to do is meet with the officiant over ceremony timing, finalize tables and chairs, and get gifts for the GM's.
My Final dress fitting is the 6th, my shower the 8th, and my bachelorette the 15th. It's all coming so fast now! Yay!
We are also holding off on a honeymoon so I am only taking the 1st-7th off. We're both going back to work on the 8th.
I was crazy and set our RSVP date a week before the wedding, luckily since FI's parents are doing the food they will make enough for 200 even if we expect 150. lol.
As for DIY projects-I am pretty much done with those. I am doing my flowers the day before and will need to put center pieces together right before that. = )
My bachelorette is the 15th too! : ) What are your plans? We're going to my family's lakehouse for a nice laidback girl's weekend.
My bachelorette party is on Saturday, the 14th! I am going with friends to a Champagne bar in downtown Cleveland. We will then hit up some other downtown bars, maybe a piano bar and stay the night at a nearby hotel.
Mermaid, a weekend at a lakehouse sounds awesome and relaxing!
ahhhh yes its sooo close now i can taste it! :)
Right now i am:
- playing RSVP police and sending out nastygrams to all the non-responders
- have a meeting with DJ and photographer to go over things this sunday with myself and FH
- planning a meeting with the cinematographer
- have to still meet with minister
- have my second dress fitting on the 6th
- bridal shower and bachelorette on the 7th
- bridal portraits on the 18th
- still have to decide how im doing the escort cards
- gotta figure out where to take dancing lessons for our first dance
most stuff is figured out. i still dont know about my makeup - but hair is covered.
i also need to figure out what i am getting my parents for gifts. and for FH. *sigh*
so much to do so little time!
and i have a friend who's getting married 2 weeks after me, who has a bridal shower and bachelorette on the 14th! :)

I don't know anything about my bachelorette besides that it will be at on of my BM's apartments. lol. They are being very sneaky! ; ) Though, a weekend at the Lake sounds AMAZING! lol.
I can't believe how quick everything is coming together! I can't wait!
I'm finally to the point where I am planning the rehearsal dinner and figuring out where we will be staying the night before. = )
I'm trying to figure out my rehearsal dinner too. It's stressing me out! :) I'm so ready for it to be here now though. Bring on Labour day Weekend!!
