Did anyone see last night’s episode of Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta? The Grace Kelly inspired gown the bride ended up getting was gorgeous and I have never come across it in my dress searches. It had a lace top, cummerbund and ball gown skirt but it wasn’t long sleeved like Grace’s. Any help would be appreciated in finding this gown!

@beesbelle: I saw that episode too, very pretty dress. SYTTD has a site that gives you info on the dresses, BUT that episode is not on there yet. Here’s a link: http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/tv/say-yes-to-the-dress-atlanta/say-yes-atlanta-season-3-dress-pictures.htm

I know, I checked there, the facebook page, bridalsbylori website and googled everything I could think of to find it with no luck. I’m too impatient to wait for them to update, lol.

It looked a lot like Watters’ Grace gown.

Haven’t seen that particular episode of SY2TD… but it sounds interesting.
I did a quick GOOGLE – Grace Kelly Wedding Dress – and GOOGLE IMAGES pulled up tons of stuff.
If you can wade thru all the pics of Grace Kelly herself, and Catherine Middleton (the Duchess of Cambridge)… there are certainly some pics that show excellent dresses that are either recreations, or have found their inspiration with the Princess of Monaco’s 1956 original gown.
Interestingly, there is even a Vogue Pattern available, that says it isn’t difficult to make… so if you get the Pattern, some fabric and a Good Dressmaker, then maybe having a Grace Kelly insprired gown can come at a decent price.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the help. It is the Watters Grace. This photo doesn’t do it justice!

This is my wedding dress. It was way more than I wanted to spend but is a beautiful dress. It is the type of dress that it is so classic and elegant (and light!)

How much was it if you don’t mind me asking?

@cookiedungood: Wow, it’s so gorgeous! Do you have any pictures of it on?
