I need 6 large white flower balls for my wedding reception centerpieces. I want flower balls that are 12 inches. I made one using a 10 inch ball from michaels that was $18 but I had a 50% off coupon so I got it for $9. I got the flowers from the dollartree (not all white) but I wanted to see if I could even do it. Well I finished and it looked great but it took almost 100 flowers!!!! I spent about $35 in flowers and $9 on the ball. However, to get all white flower balls I will have to order more expensive white flowers. Is it cheaper to buy or make these? I have seen other brides make their flower balls for savings but they were much smaller. Is it even worth it to try to DIY.
This is my inspiration picture. What size do you think this flower ball is? I found a seller on ebay with 9.84 inch balls but I ordered a sample and when it came it looked much smaller than the one I made. Suggestions???
