Weddingbee boards

So it's 6 months to the big day, time to get to work, right? So why isn't my wedding planner answering my texts, returning my phone calls, replying to me on facebook, etc????

When I call her cell, it RINGS, so I know it's still connected, and that it has battery life and whatnot.

My mother and sister (MOH) live far away, and my fiance works a demanding job, so I HAD to have a wedding planner to help me with everything.  I thought I found a great one, in my budget, would help me with centerpieces and flowers, do a great job on the day-of coordination, etc.

She had been to my home for meetings like clockwork until June.  She was at my appointment to order my dress which was over an hour away from her house, also in June.  I didn't hear from her in July or August, but I figured no biggie, since there wasn't a lot to do at that point anyway.  But now it's 6 months to go, and I'm losing my mind!!!!!

Any bees out there with reassurance/advice/similiar stories/etc???

How long have you been trying to get ahold of her? Maybe she is on vacation? Maybe she is sick, in the hospital, etc.

Don't jump to conclusions too fast, I had something similar happen with my photographer. She went completely MIA for a bit, as in her emails started bouncing back, wasn't answering calls or Facebook messages, eventually DEACTIVATED her facebook and I really started to panick when another bride started messaging me about having the same problems. It turned out she was in the hospital and got way behind in work, but she eventually got back to me and all is normal now.

So just try not to forget that we are all human, she may have real-life things going on, or may be busy with wedding happening this month, etc, and you're just a littler lower on the list since you're 6 months out.
