I am thinking 6ft would work too, especially snce the bars are not open at the same time.
I'm just putting my rental order in with my coordinator, and she had me rent two 6' tables for the bar, and we're planning on 100 people.
@ walkunafraid 2 6 foot tables for one bar? Or for two?
I was just planning to have one table, so is just one 6 foot big enough for two bartenders and all the drinks?

I'm trying to figure out what size tables to rent for the bar. There will be one bar at the reception area and one at the cocktail area (only one open at a time). Since it will be one bar for 150 people, I figured there should be two bartenders there.
There will be three kegs, coolers of ice, plus wine, soda/juice, liquor, one signature drink and plastic cups. I figured we'd need an 8 foot rectangular table, but my parents were planning on 6 foot.
Does anyone have any experience with sizes? Is 6 foot going to be too small? Is 8 foot going to be huge and overkill?
