I have a 4 prong e-ring with a round cut diamond. Today I noticed that my diamond was lose and one of the prongs was bent. My jeweler can fix it, but she also gave me the option of changing my 4 prong setting to a 6 prong setting. I don’t know if I want to or not. Will those bees with a 6 prong setting please post pictures?
Here are a few pictures of my ring:

My other concern is that it would make my diamond look smaller. I only have a .5 carat center diamond, and I really don’t want it to look any smaller!

and it on my hand:
Very personally, I like the way that the six prongs look with a round brilliant. Four made my diamond look a little square.

I have six prongs and I don’t think it makes my ring look any smaller.

Like PP said, I think 6 prongs works best with a round diamond

I don’t have any pictures to show, but I LOVE how six prongs looks! I ended up with an illusion setting, but I was considering a six prong ring. I think it’s a very nice choice!

I originally had a 4 prong as well. I have to say I like my six prong better. 🙂

I have 6 prongs too. Not the best picture, but you get the idea.

I think six prongs make the diamond look BIGGER!! Whenever I see a round with four prongs my brain immediately goes to “square,” I can’t help it. I’m not partially to square, so I wanted it as round as possible. I think the six prong allows it to look extremely round, and bigger. 😉

Mine actually has 8 on it but i thought about changing it to six. but i figured it’s two more prongs to hold it in. But i love the look of the 6 prongs!
