LatteLove- I do still love the dress just as much. Maybe even more now because it fits so good with our 1940s vintage theme. Who would have thought that! I also love it because I have a small waist and the dress makes my waist look even smaller! Gotta Love that! I did have little weird feelings about the previous relationship and that's what I bought it for... but then when I tried it on last night it was like, Yep this is my dress! Plus I plan to do a birdcage veil instead of the shoulder length I previously wanted. So that makes a change in the look too!

So as some of you know, once apon a time I was engaged. I planned a beautiful wedding that was cancelled a few months prior to the big day. I was able to get most of my deposit money back from vendors and was able to return unused items. However, I had this beautiful Maggie Sotterro Dress hanging in my closet. After multiple attempts to sell it on Ebay and Craig's List, etc. I decided the dress was too beautiful to throw away or give-away.
So last night my mom and my SIL came over to help me try it on again. I've been working out for a year now and watching what I eat. Because when I bought the dress I was 6 years younger and 30lbs lighter! Guess what! All the hardwork has paid off, it FITS!! :)
I'm lucky because it is a strapless dress and corset back. And when I gain weight I mostly gain in the hips, butt and thighs. The skirt is A-Line.
All that has to be done to it is have it cleaned and hemmed!
