Dilemma-The venue provides 60' tables.  It says it  is to seat 8 ppl but I want to fit in 10 ppl...do you think that will be too tight???

I'm having a hard time visulazing it. Should I keep it at 8 or push for the 10?

    Thanks!

I have a prob with uneven numbers, so it has to be 8 or 10. LOL!

9 is the most you want to put. With the place settings and personal space, 10 is too much!

@Ms. Sparkles: you're going to have tables with uneven numbers when you sit down and assign people to tables. Otherwise, you're going to have to split social groups in strange ways. You'll have to get over that ;-)

@crayfish: I'm ok with having uneven tables, just not uneven ppl at a table...yes, I'm wierd. :)  Right now we are at 25 tables/8p tb...but expecting more guest..dont' want to pay for more centerpieces..LOL!

I am completely crazy so I actually went to the venue to check.  It depends on what is at each setting.  I am using charger and silverware so 8 was good but I thought 9 was tight.

I would keep it at 8. We are having the same troubles with our venue. We can only fit so many if we want to have a space for dancing and the ones they provide are 60 inches. We are going to have the kids table seat 9 or 10 though.

I would not put 10. Maybe 9 if it is totally necessary, but not 10.
