@vegas:   We are from the MidWest and the people around here are about $800-$1000 for 6 hours and inclusive equipment. Not too sure about the Las Vegas area but I would assume they are more expensive from where we are.

@vegas:  Our DJ was $125/hr, so we paid $625 for 5 hours inclusive of basic equipment (NO uplighting, bubble machine, etc), and another $50 for him to travel roundtrip to our destination wedding.  He was excellent, although his boss (whom we dealt with on e-mail and phone) was flaky.

Yours sounds like a great deal, especially if he’s got good cred and reviews.

Ours was $1750 for 6 hours… sounds like you got a heck of a deal. I did love my DJ though! He was worth every penny!

I think that’s a good deal. We paid $550 for around 7 hours with no equipment included in that cost (no spot lights, uplighting, etc.)

Sounds very reasonable. We are on the East Coast and just paid $875 for 4 hours (including equipment).

Sounds reasonable to me.
