It depends on your situation and what you are serving, if there are choices, a buffet, sit down, etc.
We are having a cocktail hour with 6 hors; I will place a menu at each standing kiosk and sit down table that will cover that and also the bar beverages.
For dinner, it is a sit-down menu with salad, soup, entree, cake, then a buffet of desserts. I will have the dessert selections on a menu at each table.
I will also be doing individual menus at each seat for the soup, salad, entree.
This is because I'm really traditional (read: boring!) and it will be a formal, black tie sit-down.
On the RSVPs, I used icons so I want to tell people in detail what they decided to eat weeks prior. =) We're also doing a cheese course, so I think it's important for people to know which cheeses they're eating. I guess I could do this with multiple menus on one table, but I think the formality of our event calls for one at every setting.
Should menus be made for each guest or for each table? What did you do?
posted by skim 2 months agoHmm... if I do decide to make menu cards, I'd do one per table.
posted by NiftyBa 2 months agoI am doing two per table of ten.
