What a fabulous wedding! Looks fun! :)
wow! Everything looks great. Its so beautiful but not over the top...perfect. Congrats on your marriage!
I love the way everything looks so simple and laid back, but I'm sure it just took a lot of preparation.
I love the idea of a grandmother hankercheif to hold the bouquet, very sentimental.
Lovely photos, thanks for sharing :)
So pretty!!!! The pics of the flower girl and ring bearer are absolutely precious. And I LOVE your centerpieces! Ridiculously good DIY job!!
Congratulations!! Everything is beautiful.... I love those shots of you guys on the dock. Gorgeous location.... The flipflops are a great idea.
Thanks everyone!! We definitely were going for a casual, happy feel!
Your wedding was absolutely lovely, congrats! I have to laugh, as I originally clicked in because I also want a rustic chic event, and lo and behold I think you are wearing the dress I want to wear as well! ;) Even better, you're rocking it with a birdcage veil and the look is gorgeous. I hope you don't mind if I bookmark your event for inspiration; it looks like you all had a wonderful time!
@miss_bean: Wow! That's such a coincidence!! I am very flattered you want to use our wedding as inspiration! Let me know if you have any questions about anything we did. Good luck planning!!

My high school sweetie and I got married on the most beautiful summer day in July. It was an amazing day, so lovely to be surrounded by so many people who love and support us. We did a LOT of DIY project and everything turned out just as I imagined it. My only regret is that my hubby and I forgot to take a picture in our fauxtobooth. Other than, that it was a whimsical day full of love and laughter!
Getting ready
Map cufflinks that I gifted to my hubby. He gave me a beautiful handmade cherry jewelrybox.

Rocking the susenders
Some family time before the ceremony
Portraits at my parent's house before the ceremony
My fascinator. It came in two parts, theh clip which you see here that I wore the whole day and then a birdcage veil that I wore for the ceremony
Love this picture of my mom and sister. She is using makeup to cover a scratch that I got from my cat the day before the wedding. Whoops.
The church were our ceremony took place. DH attended this parish when he was growing up.
Special moment with my mom before the ceremony.
Love this picture of me and my dad.
His first glimpse
So cute. The next second, our flower girl got freaked out and started to cry. Poor girl. She tried so hard! Her mom and dad were to her left, so once she saw them, she was ok again.
Manly men
Sealed with a kiss!
My blue shoes! It is possible to find cute flats!!
My dress hanging on our old swingset in my parent's backyard
Honey favors! The honey came from my grandparent's farm.
Honey dipper escort cards
Reception set up. Took forever to hang all those lanterns. But they looked so great when it got dark since they were lit with LED throwies.
Sweetheart table with the LOVE banner that I made with burlap and lace
Centerpieces with vintage hankies, mason jars, wildflowers, I SPY cards and table numbers my husband made out of craft paper and paint
We had cake and blueberry pies. We set up our extended families' wedding photos around the table with their names and wedding date. They were a huge hit. We were supposed to have 3 cakes, but one collapsed in transit. Oh well. No one was the wiser.
Fabric yo yo magnets that I made to spruce up the place settings because we did a buffet, so there were no plates on the tables. I thought it needed a little more oomph.
Flip flop basket for tired feet!
Flower halo that my flower girl wore
My ouquet was wrapped in my late grandmother's hankie
The flower girl and ring bearer LOVED each other!
Our first dance to Wilco - You and I
Father daughter dance to Rascall Flatts - My Wish
Mother Son dance to Bob Dylan - Forever Young
Instant picture from our fauxtobooth. We set up a fabric backdrop and used a fujifilm instax camera for our guestbook. Guests wrote their message on the chalkboard and snapped 2 pics. One for them to keep and one for our guestbook.
