Seeing the 8/8 100 days post made me realize that for us it's tomorrow. Wow! So here's my list of most pressing concerns.

Just got a call that my dress is in (ordered November 1 '08), and made my first fitting appointment for May 16. That gives me just two weeks to figure out and buy what I am going to wear underneath! My BM dresses are in as well, so my sister/MOH is going to be contacting the other BMs to make sure they call and schedule their own fittings.

My mom is working on addressing invitations for me - she went to Catholic school and had penmanship classes, so her handwriting is beautiful.

There was a slight mishap with the florist not getting the call that I definitely want to go with that one, so I have to meet with her and discuss the plans again. The good news is that she is still available for my wedding, which is hugely awesome.

We still have to figure out centerpieces (I don't want to go with flowers), and table numbers/names.

Have to order the yarmekules (I know I probably butchered that), the ketubah, matchbooks, possibly napkins.

Have to work out the logistics on CD wedding favors that I want to do, and get started on that.

And... and... and... feels like the list goes on and on! This is just a taste of it. That's what I get for not doing much in the past six months. Damn winter... Please make me realize that I'm not the only one with tons left to do. What do you still have to accomplish?

You will be fine!  100 days is a long time.  It's more than 3 months!  You will totally get it all done, and it's great that your Mom is helping you out.

I haven't even found a florist yet!  :)  It's a low priority for me, since I'm going to do my own centerpieces with flowers from my Mom's garden.  But I still need to find one.

I mostly have little things left to do, but the big one is figuring out the timing of the day and how I want to reception to flow.  I just nixed my original idea of an outdoor cocktail hour because as much as I love the outdoors, it will be way too hot in Atlanta!  So that's where I'm at.

I also need to meet with an alterations person about my dress.  I got it at a sample sale and luckily it fits pretty well, but it needs bustling and taking in at the top.

Enjoy the nice weather and have fun!!

Moving right along. This week I decided that if I wait until the weekend, nothing gets done. So Monday after work we ordered matchbooks, the cake topper, and groomsman gifts.

Tuesday I was looking for new floral inspiration pics, and stumbled on a site with silk flowers. I've decided against using the florist that misplaced notes on my wedding, so I emailed the silk flower site for a price quote (www.wedideas.com - found some positive reviews on LiveJournal via Google).

And next on my agenda, aside from the dress fitting on Saturday (yes, by the way, I did get undergarments at Maidenform), is figuring out what we want to do about the ketubah. I'm thinking we could find wording we like online, and then use one of my own digital photos and create my own.

And centerpieces. And all that other stuff.

My invites just went out today. :) Flowers (silk, budget-bride.com) have been ordered, ketubah is ordered, yarmulkes are ordered... Lots of stuff getting done in the past two weeks, so I'm really happy with things.

Skipping the CD favors (too much work/money) and instead ordered butterfly-shaped cookie cutters. Will attach them to little recipe cards with my mom's sugar cookie recipe.

Bridesmaid gifts finalized and ordered, so I have those (etsy). Also etsyed my flower girl baskets, ring pillow, and garters, and those arrived as well.

Have to figure out the centerpieces still, but I told Mark that we have to do that before going to bed Sunday night, and he agreed and we shook hands. So I am crossing my fingers.

I made the sign to go with the matchbooks on the bar.

I started downloading pictures of butterflies from Flickr, which I want to use for the table numbers.

And I wrote a first draft of my vows, which clocked in at 2 minutes and 1.8 seconds. Which is pretty good.

I'm working on getting the guestbook and birthday calendar. And I don't have my list in front of me, but I know there are lots of other things to do.

RSVPs are coming in, which is VERY exciting.

I have my shoes at work to break them in on my lunch break for the next week or so. Although I might break them out and wear them tonight after everyone else goes home and I'm here until 8pm...

We have received about 50% of the RSVPs (due July 16), and figured out centerpieces. Yesterday was my 2nd dress fitting, which was fantastic, and makeup trial. And today was my bridal shower! I got home and was set to take about 7 trips from car to apartment, but as I closed the car after getting my second trip stuff ready, I realized the keys were locked inside the car, and future hubby with the spare was at a baseball game, not to be home until midnight! Luckily my FMIL has a spare key to the apartment and lives 10 minutes away, and a neighbor was nice and drove me over to get the key so I'm inside now, waiting for Mark to get home so I can get my keys and bring in more presents.

Six weeks left and I'm starting to really see the light at the end of the planning tunnel!

    Here is my checklist:

    1. Finish Favors

    2. Assemble Programs

    3. Arrange Transportation

    4. Rehearsal Lunch/Rehearsal

    5. Finalizing timeline for myself, wedding party and venue

    6. Turn in final headcount with menu selections

    7. Make sure groom/mens pick up tux

    8. Wrap up wedding party presents

    9. Confirm time with all Vendors (makeup artist, photographer, florist, transportation)

    10. Probably more but that all I can muster together for now!

The music lists are all done. Still have to work on photo lists. Haven't even started on programs or timelines or... lol.

Today is our RSVP date. We still have 5 not heard from, but we've called a lot of people in the past week to confirm with them and will call these last few too. We have a 150 person minimum for our venue and are currently under. At one point we thought we would be close to 40 below, so we decided to allow children (originally we were not inviting them) and called up folks with kids to let them know. That added at least a dozen. We also called people originally invited as singles and offered them guests if they'd like, and that added a bunch more. Not sure the current tally but thankfully we are a lot closer to the mark now.

Our seating chart was actually pretty easy to do. The must-have photo list, on the other hand, was getting to be a bit too much for me, so I asked my mom to take over.

Over this past weekend I can't even count how many times I broke into tears from stress. I decided that from now on, if I'm crying that means I'm not delegating enough. LOL. So if I start to freak out again, I will stop and breathe, and ask someone else to handle it if possible.

Everything somehow managed to get done. This week has been relaxing and beauty treatments. Today is mani/pedis with my mom, sis/MOH, and two flower girls, then rehearsal and dinner. Tomorrow is chiropractor for my back to make sure I am tension-free, and then it's almost wedding day!

Hope it goes smoothly for both of us. Before I walk down the aisle I'll be wishing you good luck. :-) See you on the flip side!
