Ladies,

1st let me say HAPPY HOLIDAYS...I was going through my e-mails tonight and received one from The Knot with my 8 MONTH CHECKLIST....OMG time seems to be flying by and before we know it our day will be HERE!!!! So exciting...with the New Year quickly approaching ladies what do you still have to do:

As for me I have:

• said YES to the DRESS...will be ordering 1/14/12
• Booked both ceremony and reception venues
• Picked out the bridesmaid dresses (girls going to try them on 2/18)
• Ordered and put together Save the Dates (mailing out before the end of January)
• Did draft of invitations have to order materials
• Booked photographer

I still have to:

• Book florist 
• Hire day of coordinator
• Decide on day of transportation
• Book honeymoon
• Register

I too am getting married 8/25/12! :)

My dress is here! as well as my shoes (3 pairs) and a back-up short dress for the reception.

We have our photog and venue booked.

DJ, cake, caterer and rental companies are picked out but finalized yet.

Bridesmaid dress options are picked out and we're shopping for them after the luncheon in February.

My fiance and I have several DIY aspects ready to go or in-progress, but still lots to do.

I'm so excited, the planning and preparations are so much fun! I'm just a little worried August is going to creep up faster than we know it.

@SeattleKimmy: YES...before we know it August will be here it just seems as if the days are going by SOOOOOO Fast. You have accomplished alot....3 Pair of SHOES...wow...I'm a shoe whore myself so I UNDERSTAND!!!

@auggiefrog: You have accomplished alot as well. 

Both of you ladies make me feel like I am trailing behind because I have yet to order my dress...the shop that I am ordering from told me it would be in my best interest if I order no later than mid February.....its time for me to stop procastinating!!!
