Just a little countdown update :)  Time is flying now.  Especially since I'll be out of town 3 of the next 4 weekends and the one I'm in town for is my shower and we'll have OOT guests!  August will be here in a blink.

Got a call last night that our crib is in!  Now I just have to finish cleaning out the nursery and drive an hour to get the crib so we can REALLY start nesting :)  Perfect timing with the shower being next weekend so hopefully we'll have some 'stuff' to go in the nursery!  Plus I'm heading to Ikea when I'm 'home' this weekend to pick up shelves and other nicknacks for organizing the closet.  I havne't really been stressing that we have done NOTHING - but I'm really excited to get the nursery set up!

ALSO - biggest news.... I fell in love with a boy name yesterday.  FINALLY.  Bonus - the hubby has approved!  We've had 'Alta Paisley' picked out for a girl for MONTHS.  We had a couple maybes for boys - but nothing I'd FALLEN for like I did for Paisley.  Until yesterday when I found Ryker.  Not only does it feel 'all boy' which I like... but it's apparently a nickname for Richard and shares the same base 'ric' meaning 'powerful leader'. (According to one site :))  My dad's name was Richard Wayne and I've really wanted to use some part of this to honor him as he passed away 6 years ago from cancer.  I was thinking Wayne for a middle name and the hubby was having absolutely no part in that.  So this way we have a fun unique (pronouncable) name that I'll know also honors my daddy :)  Now all we need is a middle (or first) name and we're set!

I'm not sharing with any IRL friends - but I just can't keep my names totally secret :)  I love them and can't wait to find out if I have a little Paisley or Ryker kicking me all day long!

PS. As far as the 'pregnancy' goes.  Entering month 8 and I definitely have to pee "ALL" the time.  Even if I just went!  Luckily I can sleep through this and only get up twcie a night.  The baby is taking up more and more room making things a little bit uncomfortable - only painful when it's rib pain which has been in my back lately.  I have to be careful to eat smaller portions too as the heartburn is starting to creep back in.  Otherwise feeling AOK!

I really like the name choice!  Great find!

You are going to have so much fun setting things up after the shower!!  I am glad to hear you are feeling good (besides the constant peeing).  Are you allowed to take pepcid or anything for the heartburn?

I'm so glad to hear you are doing well, and I love your boy name!  You are in the homestretch now... Time really is going to fly and in a few short weeks you'll be holding your little one in your arms!

@Jilian - congrats on finding a name you love! We are still on the hunt :)  I also can't wait for our crib and furnitue to come in to get the nursery all set up.

and omg I hear your on the peeing all the time! I am amazed that withing minutes of going I already feel like I have to again - and it also come and goes-  I think depending on whether the baby is sitting on my bladder or not :)

@heathaah - There's a couple things on the 'heartburn med' approved list.  Mylanta (liquid, gelcaps), Maalox (liquid, tablets, and TUMS. I had a couple TUMS/Morning Sickness incidents early on and doubt I'll EVER eat a TUMS again - they don't taste so good the 'second' time around. Liquid Mylanta is my go to and it really does help!  I try to only use it when I HAVE to though.  I've found chewing gum really helps settle my tummy/esophagus when I'm feeling icky - so I chew gum a lot!
