Hi Everyone, My sister and brother are hosting an engagement party for my Fiancee and I. We couldn't be more excited, but I can't for the life of me think of a thank you gift for hosting such a great party.
A little background: It's going to be a cocktail party for about 30-40 people at my sister's house. I think they are going all out for it, so I want the gift to be special. Both my sister and brother are married with kids, and my sister's pregnant, so no booze.
Any suggestions?? I kinda want something for them and their families. I am lost.
I agree with missbean. I would make a cute basket and fill it with movie tickets, favorite candies a bottle of wine to take to a restaurant, design a cute babysitting coupon and a gift card to a restaurant. I'm all about presentation!
An evening out for them - you can go as crazy as you like. It could be at a restaurant for the whole family or a romantic dinner or show just for them. Maybe you or your parents could mind the kids and they can have an evening alone.

posted by KSW 1 month agoHow about dinner and babysitting on you? Most parents would probably love to have at least a mini break for a night!

posted by QueenoftheClick 1 month agoWell, maybe for your brother a nice bottle of wine (assuming his wife/s.o. isn't pregnant) and a gift card to their favourite family restaurant?
