how can this happen.. how can someone gain 8 lbs in less than a month.. is this normal? can this really happen!! i thought i was doing good watching my calorie intake. yes i had sugar once in a while but no different than what i was doing before. right after the wedding i just blew up like the blueberry girl on willy wonka! i just started going back to the gym monday so im having high hopes i can get past this. but i weighed myself this morning and gained another lb.
pregnant?? took 2 tests.. negative.. im just fat. im having a horrible morning i wish i could just leave work and go cry in my bed. 8LBS!!! 8LBS! makes me sick! my stomach is huge! like really huge. i could pass for a 7 month pregnant lady its so bad.
anyone have magic weightloss dust? message me ill give you my home address 😉

Don’t worry, I’m sure most of that is water retention. If a pound is 3500 calories, you couldn’t possibly have eaten 28,000 extra calories in 2 1/2 weeks (on top of your normal eating patterns)!!
But I know how that feels, and it sucks. It’s ok to whine once in a while 🙂

I know how you feel – I gain weight very quickly. If we would go out drinking, then late night, bad food snacking was sure to follow. I could easily gain 3 lbs in a weekend and it would take me 2 weeks to lose it. Sorry you’re going through this, but you should be able to knock it out by the end of the month 🙂

I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I swear if I look at, sniff, or even dream about tasting a brownie, I freakin gain 10 lbs on the spot!
My DH and I have been following the Eat Clean diet and have had a lot of success. If the first week, I lost 4 lbs (granted, I’m heavier, so the weight will fall off quicker). But I have found that beings I”m eating good quality, non-processed food, I’m filling up quicker on the healthy stuff…and eating less. I love it!

If it’s almost your TOM, then that could be why. We just bloat up and rotain water. The most I went up around that time was 9 lbs. It will go back down after TOM.
If its not that, have you been working out a lot? You could have gained muscle.
Or, if you have been eating a lot of salty food, that would cause you to rotain water.
