HI ! Our lists are looking VERY similar, which makes me feel great. Overall, I am feeling good, but last night I had a hard time falling asleep. I hope this does not continue until the day of....
Here's what i have:
Ceremony:
VOWS/readings
Music
Reception:
Make menus
Do not play list, firm up first dance song and Father/bride dance
Candy Buffet - get candy, make signs, get scoops - why did i decide to do this?
Get names of final RSVP to calligrapher to make escort cards
Figure out seating once we get final count
Bathroom basket
Other:
Marriage liscense !
Day of transportation
Out of town bags
Day of Timeline
Figure out our bags and how we get them to hotel and all of that nonsense
Bridesmaid/GM presents
Parents presents
FInal fitting and get dress home
Write card to give to FI day of
Details:
- File for marriage license - TOMORROW!
- Hair trial, scheduled for 8/14
- Dress fitting, scheduled for 8/30
- Bachelorette Party, Bachelor Party 8/14
- Bridal Shower, 8/29
- Tux fitting for FI, by end of Aug
- Decide on groomsmen gifts, yikes!
- Harrass groomsmen and dad's until they get their tuxes fitted.
- Day of timeline, coordinate with vendors to ensure everyone's on the same page.
- OOT bags
- Card for FI for day of
- yikes, lots left to do!
Ceremony:
- Decide on processional/recessional music
- Ask my brother if he'll man the CD Player haha
- Figure out what aisle decorations we'll use on the chairs at our outdoor wedding
- Send final copy of ceremony script to JP.
Reception:
- Decide on songs for parent/child dances, sibling dance, entrance music, etc.
- Place cards, table numbers. I made a table map already, but will need to blow it up and get it framed.
- Hope and pray that everything comes together the way I picture it in my head...
I wanted to add that I am doing the NO RAIN dance in my mind every second of every day!
Hmm let's see (I'm 9/24, but I'll share too :) )
- dress fitting--first one tomorrow!
- tasting (first week of Sept)
- write vows--we really need to do this, like this weekend!
-pick ceremony music--same thing, we really need to get on this
- figure out what we're doing for table numbers
-buy/make a cardbox
- get place cards made
-finish bridesmaid gifts, nag FI about groomsmen gifts, lol
- marriage license
- get shots for honeymoon
- meet with Day of coordinator to finalize details
And that's all I can (or want to) think about for now!
OMG i feel like everything is missing lol. 30 days left and the days are flying by.
Going to discuss the ceremony details with the pastor today hopefuly get that all squared away.
FINALLY, all my groomsmen got fitted so thats done.
My girls STILL havent picked up their dresses even tho it arrived 2 weeks ago (I really have no idea why they are making this soo difficult for me and personally I'm tired of holding their hands in all this b/c its no longer abt them)
Going to have my hair and make up trial next week.
RSVP deadline is next week
Need to make sure we pay all the vendors in the next 2 weeks
My dress is all ready and I'm set to pick it up the day before my wedding.
Ugh, flower girl dress wont be here until 2 weeks before the wedding ---hoping that goes well.
Favors are ready to be assembled and programs need to be deisgned and lord knows what else im missing but at least all the other major stuff has been taken care of :)
