    Hey bees!
My wedding is 9 days away (OHMYGOD)...

i keep getting advice that i really should hire a day of coordinator...

i'm not sure if i want to deal with an added expense, but i'll look in to it. 9 days to go.. is it too late?? Would love your thoughts and also, how much did you pay for yours?

    THANKS!!

Hey date twin,  can you believe it's so close?!

My DOC has been a lifesaver.  If you have the money for one, get one.  It's not too late but you will need to carve out time to go over everything with her, get her all the contracts, contact info, explain everything.  I've had 4 meetings with my DOC so far one of which was a venue walk through, (each meeting was about 2 hours).  I'm sure you can go over everything in less time if you're organized.

But yeah, I can't imagine not having her and her team there the day of.  There's just so much to do and oversee.

    Have an awesome wedding!

A lot of people might be booked already for that weekend. If you find someone who isn't booked you might try to get a rate discount because it really is just "day of" . I just booked mine and she's $1000 (works with an assitant and pretty much takes over about 3 weeks out). If you think people are going to stress you with questions and set up then I'd say get one. If everyone is pretty chill and can  reasonably do the setup don't add the extra expense.

@Meowkers:  OMG wedding-day-twin are you flipping out yet??? I still have quite a few things left to do, im so nervous about everything.Hope you have an AMAZING wonderful beautiful day full of love and is everything you expected and more!!

@katsupgirl - i think i can do w/o the added expense... to be honest. For the most part everyone's pretty chill, i have a designer helping me with the room, a pretty involved florist and my catering director seems to be on point too!

I just got really nervous the other day, my boss is getting married the following wknd, and she said she DEFinitely hired a DOC.. but then again she's doing a 3-day wknd in VT.

    Thanks ladies!!!!
