I'm freaking out. I went to pick up my dress (the seamstress' shop is closed starting Monday until the week after) and the hem was completely screwed up! Half of it had the crinoline showing and the other had the skirt dragging the ground. Uggh. Oh yeah, and the top is too tight because they took it in too much so I have to crash diet the week before the wedding, which is exactly what I didn't want to happen :(.
Omg I am so sorry! Are they going to be able to do anything at all about the hem or anything?! I would be demanding a full refund for those alterations. I'm so sorry you are freaking out. :( I hope it all works out, I'm sure it will!
@FutureMrsMonty11: Thanks :). I am freaking out more than a little bit. They're going to try to fix the hemline by tomorrow afternoon, and I'm just going to have to diet and not drink anything carbonated for the top. I hope everyone else is doing well!
High of 95 here. Yay for our outdoor wedding. :( Wedding is at sunset so it might not be totally unbearable. SOOOOO glad my mom is here now.
Pretty excited but realized that I didn't rent a table for our cake. Oops.
So excited! Everything is done... just have to make up a couple OOT bags for late bookers and print the last couple place cards. :) Can't wait!! The long term forcast says Sunny, high of 22 (72) low of 14 (57) 0% POP!!!
Low 90's projected here too but the wedding venue is sited so that there is complete shade and a lovely breeze...it will be great! Today I finishe all the pennant/bunting banners, got the fabric wallpapered to the photo booth wall, painted a vintage bench and a park bench to use in front of the wall shopped for more day-of emergency supplies and tonight I'm hemming the pergola draping. Whew!
Oh yeah, I also steamed DD's petticoat and used a can and a half of heavy spray starch on it to reaaaaalllly fluff it out per the seamstresses advice. I hope my future SIL will be able to reach her to give her a kiss, that petticoat is seriously fluffy! She is going to look like an absolute princess.
So excited!!!
So I just tried on my dress for the rehearsal dinner... and it doesn't fit. Add that to my new picky eating, craving for soft pretzels, emotional roller coaster...
I'm thinking pregnancy test time. I would just DIE.
@SFreeman: omg I feel you on not fitting into your dress, I am trying to lose 5 lbs so I have some breathing room in my wedding dress... And uh, good luck on your test!
And I am so jealous of everyone who says they have everything done... I have been putting all my projects off this whole weekend and I am so behind. Thank goodness I am off tomorrow for Labor Day! Oh and on a brighter note, the weather for 9/10/11 here has gone back to 0% chance of rain. I hope it stays that way!
3 out of 4 weather sites say rain for me :( outdoor ceremony, outdoor pictures, goodbye. frizzy hair, hello. god. really?
Everything is completely finished now. And I started packing for the honeymoon today. I cannot wait to sit on the beach!
Our weather is in the 70s with chance of rain. Hoping the weathermen are wrong about this one... It sucks that the one big thing we can't control could change the day so much... But we're all still getting married right? :)
I am excited, nervous, ready for it to be here already! Everything is done here, Thursday and Friday will be crazy days though since we are doing an outdoor wedding at my parent's. Luckily the weather here will be 80 and sunny, perfect! Let's hope that doesn't change...
Still have too much to do! I envy those who are finished. I will be doing things up until Fri night. I know it. Oh well. It could be much worse. I still need to figure out where FI and I are sleeping. I cannot wait until Sunday when it is over and I can rest!
We got our marriage license today! It's finally feeling real and I am getting butterflies really bad every time I think about it... Oh well, off to work on my DIY projects that I still haven't finished! :)
Solved an aisle dilemma today. Trying to figure out our reception exit dilemma but I don't even want to deal with it.
I had an almost meltdown today because I had a braid fart and couldn't do math. All is well. :)
Behind my schedule and stressing! Still have to finish threading all the ribbons for the pavillion streamers. At least they are all seperated and tidy. Still have to finish off the handles of the bridesmaid's bouquets and give the silk flowers a last trim for stray threads.
Then there is the diy food stuff! Tomato-zucchini salad for 150 and fresh fruit too. It'll get done. It'll get done. It'll get done....
Yea all I really have left is to drop off the favors and stuff at the wedding hall tonight...but I can't stop myself from checking the weather every 5 minutes...low 70's with 40% chance of rain + outdoor ceremony = sadness...we still have a few days though so maybe things will brighten up for all of us :)
Sleep? What is that??? Stopping in briefly before heading to bed. Another late night tonight followed by a longer one tomorrow. :(
@Storm0075: I know exactly how you feel! The plan was for me to be done with all my table runners by tonight but I still have 6 out of 18 to go. I really didn't want to try to do anything Friday night but now I might have to... Oh and my program fans have not come in yet and I am starting to freak out. She said they were shipped a week and a half ago! And to top it off, the weather is back to 10% chance of rain- I need that to go away!
@FutureMrsMonty11: I still have not finished printing out my programs let alone assembling them. They are not lining up right and I got cranky last night and just gave up. I aslo still have to finish making candy and cupcakes. And we have to buy alcohol tomorrow and get the last of the gifts for the bridal party. Oh yeah. Can we say swamped???? Oh and set up the hall tomorrow, I will be glad for Monday. I can do absolutely nothing. My OOT family goes back Sunday so I have no demands on me come Monday.
I would call and call and call today about htat order and get hte tracking info and call the shipping company and make a real pain in the butt of myself today if I were in your shoes. :)
Congrats you guys, you are all officially down to the wire.
@organizedbride11: TY! Yes we are. And in two months you will be asking where the time went :)
Happy day before your wedding, ladies! I wish you each a perfect day.

How is everyone doing? Stressed/excited/ready to go?! I think I am all of the above! I've been checking the weather everyday since it showed up on the 10 day forecast and it keeps getting progressively worse. At first it was high of 86 and sunny w/ 0% chance of rain and as of right now it's 89 and mostly sunny w/ a 20% chance of rain. I'm praying it doesn't get any worse since I am having an outdoor ceremony. Plus I still have quite a few DIY projects to finish up. So how is everyone else doing?
