Hmm…pretty much the same for me, except we have our rings ready to go and the invites sent out. I have my shoes, too (got them on sale, woohoo)!!

I have to just pick up stuff for signs and favors, and do a centerpiece mockup.  We are doing wine bottle centerpieces, and each wine bottle will be one of our favorite wineries in lieu of table numbers.  We are also getting floral centerpieces because my mom wanted to spring for them (yippee)! So I have to think of some cute way to bring them all together.

Some big things to do:

Address and mail invites (sending next week)

Purchase my ring

Purchase FI’s suit (yeah this is a big one I am hoping to take care of this week)

Plan out ceremony

Those are the big items on my to-do list for this month, along with my shower and a trip to Vegas on the 31st.  LOTS more tiny details and things to do which will be done next month!

I still have to buy my parents gifts, pick more songs, talk with florist and caterer and set things in stone, get marriage license (lol), buy more decorations and stuff for favors, talk to cake maker, buy lots and lots of alcohol, etc. All big things are done for the most part. Everything is also paid off.

ETA: I sent out invitations last week and the week before to people out of state. We never sent out save the dates and our rsvp deadline is august 24th.

Oh. Man.

I should be freaking out a lot more but I just don’t have room to think about the wedding between trying to buy a house and working two jobs, my full time job being the one I need to re-apply for, and being in a friends’ wedding in August…

It will all be over soon lol!!!!

I need to put together and address the invites (going out July 21st)

I need to get my BM gifts and we need to finish the grooms gifts (and by we I mean contact the seamstress)

we need to do lots of little DIY projects: putting small tealight lanterns together, glitter my bm shoes, make my veil, make the dance floor

finalize rentals

probably meet with the DJ and the venue and the photo

Find someone to do our hair for not an outrageous price who is coming TO the venue

Cake tasting and deciding upon

Finalize the song list and work with my Dad to figure out the sound and stuff

I am SO ready to be married to this man… but I am SO done with planning. We were the idiots who decided now was a good time to try to buy a house!!!!!

I was feeling really on top of things til I started making a list of what’s left to do. Gulp!

-Tons of DIY (centerpiece stuff, all ceremony and reception paper, sew napkins, make seating chart, etc etc). Where is Martha Stewart when you need her!?

-Order and send out invitations

-Order favors

-Plan out ceremony, write our own unity ceremony

-Figure out bridal party gifts and purchase them

-Determine what we’re doing, if anything, for ceremony decor

And the big one

-Make a final decision on the ceremony location. Blah.

I’m starting to have wedding dreams.  Reality kicked in last week when we did the food tasting, the cake tasting and met with the florist.

Here’s what we have left to do:

– Get alterations (in August)

– Book transportation

– Finish addressing invites and send them this week

– Pre-marital counseling

– Finish bridal party gifts

– Plan ceremony with minister

– Book the babysitter for the ceremony & reception

– Order the rest of the centerpiece supplies

– Do hair & makeup trial

It amazes me how much I’ve been able to get done so far.  I’m not usually the most orgainzed person and have only been to 3-4 weddings.  The Bee has been a godsend.

So I am just starting to freak out a bit, Sept 21st will be here before we know it!!

I still have to:

  • Order wedding rings – going tonight to finalize the design
  • order the rest of my BMs gifts – ordered half already
  • choose our ceremony readings
  • organize transportation for the bridal party on the day of the wedding
  • help FI choose his tux
  • makeup trial
  • put together out of town bags
  • finalize the music for ceremony and reception
  • just scheduled our food and cake tasting today

My dress still isn’t in, so I can’t even schedule my fittings yet. I’m getting a little nervous about that!

10 weeks!? Wasn’t it just 15wks? 75 is 25 3X’S and now technically we only have 74 days.. Oh My Holy Freak Out.

Things to do:

  • Finish addressing invites (tonight)

  • Groom and GM still need to go shopping for their attire

  • Ceremony and Reception stationary needs to be determined and ordered

  • Dress STILL HASNT come in yet and it was due a month ago

  • Garter, Veil, and Sash all needs to be ordered but need my dress for that

  • Music needs to be selected for both Ceremony and Reception

  • Vows need to be written and stuff

  • Will need to touch base with the apple orchard to see if we can work out a deal for Caramel Apples that I want for favors

  • Rings need to be purchased

  • And marriage license needs to be applied / paid for

I guess looking at my list things don’t seem terribly daunting – its just the wedding jitters that get to me. Hosting such a large party, being center of attention, and putting our very private love on display for over 250 of our nearest and dearest..

The other stuff, my list, well… thats just peanuts in comparison.

Our invites came but had someone else’s addresses on them (ahh!!) so as soon as I get them back from Minted I’m sending those babies out!

Also need to:

order rings

BM/GM gifts

finalize songs

marriage license

I second guessed my dress and ordered a completely new one 2 weeks ago..So…waiting on that to come in August and do fittings

Find wedding shoes and jewelry. I ordered my garters off etsy

Finalize centerpieces- we’re doing milk glass and vintage bottles but serving dinner family style so need to plan this out so there’s enough room at the tables

Hair trial (again) since my dress is COMPLETELY different

oh and lose 20 pounds (gahhhhh crossing my fingers on that one )

I’m so glad to see these lists!!

We need to:

+ get invites out (finish gathering addresses + order invites)

+ marriage license

+ figure out music for ceremony and finalize play list for reception

+ buy garter

+ choose or write vows

+ get FI’s ring

+ Figure out/gather decorations from friends and family

+ FI is finishing up the benches and archway for the ceremony

+ Figure out whether we’re able to hire the caterer or need to have our family cook the food

+ hair&make up

+ meet with flower lady

+ make my bouquet

+ decide whether to rent table/chairs or not

+ figure out how my daughter’s going to be involved

+ decide/order favors

Everything feels so out of control since we JUST found a venue, but I think we’ll make it 🙂

I’m having wedding nightmares and can’t wait to just get it over with!!!!

Oy.  we’ve sent invites, we have another tasting in 2 weeks.  Need to figure out what the heck we’re doing for music, our DIY ceremony (we want a friend to marry us.) and still trying to figure out what to do the evening before and day after.  I just got freaked out by “10 weeks.”
