we thought about 9/26/09, but that is my fiance's birthday so we ended up with the week before 9/19/09. i think the 26th is a great day though, congrats!
Hey, that's us! We are getting married on Sept., 26 in Texas. Where is your wedding? Have you made any major decisions?
We have picked the venue, which takes care of a lot of other decisions, like caterers and rehearsal dinner, since everything will be in one place. I am planning to send out save the dates next month, since it's basically a destination wedding.

9/26/09 is my wedding date as well! We'll be getting married in Nashville, TN.:)
My date is also 9/26/09. We are getting married in Cambridge, Ohio (it is a small town about an hour east of Columbus)
I'm a 9/26/09 bride, too! We're getting married at a campground near Peterborough Ontario, Canada (that's a couple of hours north-east of Toronto for all you Americans) and having the reception at a nearby resort.
I'v found a September wedding difficult for choosing a theme and colors. It's not summer anymore, but I'm not really into the whole harvest themed, pumpkins and straw bales thing. What are all of you doing?

We are getting married in Bismarck, ND!
We have the church, photographer, reception site, DJ, etc. I am getting my dress, invitations, flowers sorted out in February.

I'm getting married on 9/26/2009 also, but in Cincinnati Ohio! I think the date has such a nice ring to it. Congrats everyone :)
Hello date twins! We are getting married sept 26th in Western PA, even though we now live in CA. We don't have a reception site yet (eek!) but we are on the verge and we have an awesome chapel booked for our special day! We are having such troubles with colors because my FI does not like red or red/orange, which I had always thought we'd have, and he's super into neutrals - except brown which I also liked, but I think there needs to be a punch of color somewhere! We are getting married in Texas' Hill Country, a couple of hours from Austin. We have a fairly inclusive venue with makes some of the decisions, like the caterer, for us. We are actually mailing out the Save the Dates in a week or so, since it's basically a destination wedding. We are also starting our registering odyssey this weekend. Has anyone else done that part? We are feeling super weird about it, since we really have all we need.
9/26/09 for us! On a golf course in the sunny hills of California! So excited! We will be flying out to Tahiti/BoraBora the next day.
Hi, another september 26th 2009 here! We are getting married just outside Boston and just decided on the venue last week. I am in agreement with those not caving to the russet/red/pumpkin seasonal pressure and am picturing GREEN flowers.

Yay September 26th! We are getting married and having our reception at a winery in Napa. We just signed the contract for the caterer this morning and I'm trying to sort out flowers now. Our color palette is dusky purple, pewter and black.
We're also getting married on 9/26, we're having an afternoon reception at a historic mansion in Maryland.
hello twinnies... I am also getting married 9/26/09. The date is 5 days after my birthday! We are getting married at a local hotel in Connecticut.
We have booked everything and have small balances on everything. All of the DIY projects are left to do.

What a great day! We are getting married 9/26 in Tucson, Arizona at a small boutique hotel. We aren't going to go very "fall" colored because Tucson doesn't really have a fall season. Instead we are trying to getting married around Sunset and have accent colors that mimic that.
@coralray24 - a wedding at sunset with all those bright reds orange and yellows how beautiful that is ging to be.
We are getting married on 9/26 too. We had to work around two football schedules. We are getting married on an off weekend for OU and an away game for Arkansas. People will choose a football game over your wedding any day down here!

I have been to several bridal shows recently and almost every vendor would comment on how that is one of the most popular dates for them this year. I wonder why?
My colors are black and white with red as an accent color..as in only the flowers will be red.

Welcome to 9/26/09!! Did you know that 9+2+6+9=26?? I love that about that day! We're getting married here in Tacoma, WA at our church. We just ordered a sample invite from WeddingDivas.com so I'm excited to see it. Our save the date cards will be coming in, soon!
Hi guys! I am a 9/26/09 bride too! We are getting married out on the North Fork of Long Island, our reception will be at a winery I just love. I am 98% sure our colors will be orange and green, like an orange tulip or gerber daisy. Of course there will be white, gold and brown thrown in.
We only set our date about 6 weeks ago, and all my time since then was spent picking a caterer, researching and holding hotels for guests (everything books up immediately out there) and setting up our wedding website! We sent out an email save the date on 3/26/09 and asked for informal RSVP's so we can get a head count.
Now every free second of my life is spent looking for a wedding dress, because I never even so much as looked at one till about a month ago...I never realized how much work all this planning would be!! It's like a second job. I can't wait till I find my dress, that will be a load off my mind. Shopping for a wedding dress also got me serious about dropping a few pounds!!!

Thats our date!!! We are getting married in Rochester, MI and having an outside very romantic ceremony and then totally switching the vibe for the reception and its very club modern and club like!!!! I'm soooo excited, only 140 days to go!

I am with engaged to panda just found the month twins link:) I am gettin gmarried 9-26-09 also in crawford, ne. We had to cancel our wedding due to medical stuff, but we are still getting married. Congrats to you all:)
