@LovelyLaura8:  I think labels are fine. Save the Dates are generally less formal than the wedding invitations. We’re having a formal wedding with letterpress invites. Our Save the Dates will be digitally printed and have labels. We haven’t decided if we are going to use a calligrapher for the invitations yet, but if we don’t I will hand write them (I’ll start months in advance lol).

I have no problem receiving invitations or Save-The-Date Cards with labels. I know it’s hard work hand writing it all and sometimes one can’t afford someone to do it for them. I don’t judge nor am I irked by labels.

There are clear labels that look a lot nicer than the standard white ones. I have to agree…while I understand the concept of a handwritten invitation looking more “personal” sometimes it is just not something you have the time to do. You shouldn’t feel bad about using a label or printing your envelopes at home!!
