i have no tips or advice, but have you ever listened to girl talk? he’s a mash-up artist that is AMAZING! you can download his latest album for free (it’s a “pick what you want to pay” sort of thing) here…

by the way, i recommend that everyone downloads this, as long as your not easily offended by some lyrics. it’s the perfect getting ready to go out / on the way to my bachelorette party / i had to mute jillian michaels but i gotta listen to SOMETHING to get me through the shred, music!

that youtube user has taken the time to create music video versions of girl talk’s mish-mashes from the “feed the animals” album using the original music videos! i can’t imagine how much time went into that! hopefully that can give you an idea of some of the songs 🙂

I sometimes use Garageband, but I also like Audicity. Free download, and way helpful. Look into that if you start to get problems.
