I felt the need to eat McDonalds. I ate a Big Mac, fries, and drank a Coke. I occasionally have a Coke (usually only with Tylenol when I have a really bad headache as the caffiene makes the headache go away faster) but I haven’t eaten McDonalds in probably a year, maybe more. I feel like CRAP! I’m sweaty, my stomach hurts, I have gas, and I’m shakey. WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!?
I don’t understand how people can eat like this regularly and function.

@humminbird: I haven’t had McDonald’s since…maybe college. If you feel the need to eat crap like that, get a bottle of water and drink it, and then make a better decision.
Edited to add: What makes a Big Mac different from a regular cheeseburger?

I dislike McDonalds but the other day I brought my Dirty Delete for a treat (she could choose whatever she wanted). I ate a 4 piece nugget happy meal and felt crappy for an hour or so later. Wahhh!!!

Big Macs gross me out. I eat McDonalds frequently because I’m always on the go (and am wayy too lazy to prepare something) but I literally always get the grilled chicken salad with low fat balsamic dressing. It’s less than 400 calories and very filling. Sometimes I get a sprite if my stomach hurts. And I do love their vanilla cones. Other than that, McDonalds is gross.

I feel that way too, if I eat too much McD’s. Usually if I feel a craving I’ll just get a wrap or better yet, a happy meai, that way you get a little of everything but not enough to feel bad.

I used to love their crispy chicken snack wraps. Mmmmm

I love McDonalds… that said, I hear you! I used to be able to eat plates of fried food, but now if I have more than a few bites of greasy fried food, I feel so sick. Goes to show how much better heathy eating is for you.

@peachacid: I appreciate your tips but I eat very, very well and only ate it today because my Fiance and I were reminiscing about some high school stuff that made me decide eating it once really wouldn’t hurt (WRONG). I make a “better decision” every other meal.
…And a Big Mac is only different in that it is two patties with essentially Thousand Island Dressing.

Every once in awhile I make the mistake of eating there (when I pick up a Happy Meal for my son) and end up paying for it later and wondering what made me think it was worth it? I totally understand!

When I’m hungover I love the two cheeseburger meal with fries and a coke, yummm 🙂

We eat McDonald’s maybe once a year at the most; we have a young child so very rarely it’s the easier option, but thankfully she’s grown out of her desire to eat there. Each time it happens, we all look at each other like ‘wtf were we thinking?’
I still entertain fond thoughts of their breakfast sandwiches though, although I haven’t had one in maybe 5 or 6 years.

A good ole fashion McDonalds trip keeps one grounded .

I guess I’m used to eating fast food so it doesn’t bother me but I don’t really like McDonalds food in general and only eat there when my Darling Husband wants it.
I hear the same thing about Taco Bell from people and I eat there all the time with no problems. Just depends on your body.

I haven’t eaten there in years because I don’t eat meat but I also get a bad stomach reaction like you described when I have fast food. I feel so guilty after Taco Bell!

I have to stay away from McDonalds because I have a weakness for Chicken McNuggets with a side of Rollo McFlurry.
