We’re going with Iacobucci’s in Morton, PA.  There is also one in Havertown.  It doesn’t necessarily have all the "bells and whistles" like a place like Men’s Wearhouse, but I grew up in the area and pretty much everyone around here goes there for proms and weddings.  I’ve never really heard of anyone having a bad experience there, and their prices are really reasonable.  Sometimes the big chains make me nervous, and I wasn’t impressed with the service at the Men’s Wearhouse in Springfield when we went to check them out.

Most of our guys are from out of town, so the people at Iacobucci’s said they can just get measured at any tailor and call in their measurements.

And, BONUS — I’m going to write a blog post about this soon — they rent suits!  Mr. Cupcake and I really wanted him and the groomsmen/dads to wear suits instead of tuxes, but we couldn’t ask them to drop a few hundo on a new suit, and most places don’t rent suits.  Iacobucci’s has a simple black suit that they’ll rent for $65!  Mr. Cupcake and our dads are going to buy nice new ones, but the groomsmen won’t be out of too much cash, which is a big plus.

We’re renting from Franx Tux in Mount Airy on Germantown Avenue. Frank is quite the character. The wedding day hasn’t arrived, so I can’t report on results yet, but my fingers are crossed.
