I am in the process of planning my wedding and doing almost everything diy to cut my cost in half plus it has additional memories to me and my Fiance as we go through this process. I would really like to design my own monogram and do my wedding invites myself can anyone share ideas, templates, or websites to help me. Thanks

I DIY quite a bit for my wedding: invites, programs, escort cards, table numbers, Groomsmen & Groom boots, my BM’s bouquets & my bouquet, throwies for paper lanterns, all the centerpeices, all bar & food signs, cupcake stand, bags for cookie favors, and chair signs. So it can be done and still look nice!!!
Here is the turotial I followed for my DIY pocketfold invitations: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/09/27/how-to-make-your-own-pocketfold-invitations/ except I made mine 6×6. I also made my own wrap around labels using excel.

I’d recommend downloading GIMP (it’s like a free version of photoshop) and looking up tutorials for it. I know I’ve stumbled across monogram tutorials before but I don’t have them saved, sorry!
