You’re so right, I’ve been doing the same thing as far as remembering. And the weddings I loved the most, I can’t even remember if we had chair covers or table linens or what the heck the centerpieces were. It just isn’t important when you’re truly having a good time!

@AirForceWife78:  Thank you for the advice.  I’m starting to realize you cannot please everyone but also weddings are about compromise as I want it to be a part of my FI and family’s day as much as it is mine… I’ve always wanted a small intimate destination wedding (or even a European elopement) but alas we’re having at least 200 people.

The only thing I would say differently is I remember the food 🙂 And I definitely remember if it’s great or bad.  But everything else is forgettable.  My favorite wedding wasn’t the highest budget (quite the opposite) but it was the most loving, fun wedding mainly due to the personality of the bride and groom and their awesome guests!
