I was debating how much I should worry about this bit of weird bulging where the dress meets my back. It seems more pronounced in some pictures than others, that gives me SOME hope that it’s my posture but it might just be the angle of the photo. My wedding is September 14th and I’m unsure ofhow much I should worry about this bulge.
Is it doing that because of my bad posture?
Or would losing weight fix that?
Or would toning my back fix that?
Or is that normal?
I actually can’t let the dress out anymore at the bust, so that’s really not an option for me. So if letting out the dress is the only real solution I’ll have to try my best to compensate in other ways.
If it doesn’t seem like there is anything I can do about it I may just wear my shawl strategically.

@lovelyduckie: LOL, what I see are your SHOULDERBLADES, not bulge! No matter what you do, you can’t change your bone structure. And nor should you want to, because you look FABULOUS!

The dress looks amazing on you! I think you are being overly critical of yourself because there is hardly anything there… no one will be looking at that on your wedding day!

@lovelyduckie: It’s not noticeable. We’re just harder on ourselves than other people are. 🙂
I have some back fat going on in my corset dress, so I’m opting to wear my hair half up/half down to hide some of it.

I’m got the same drama. The dress alterer said she could not fix it because if she did she would have to decrease the bust area and I don’t want to be showing a boob on my wedding day.
Exercise helps a little (if it’s actually back fat and not your shoulder blades), if you have a long veil that will hide most of it. That’s what I realised and was so relieved!!

Um I voted all of the above then I looked at your pics. You don’t have to worry about it. At all. You look amazing in your dress!

@lovelyduckie: I voted it’s normal. When I read back bulge I was expecting a “people you see at walmart”/breasts on your back kind of a thing. You most definitely do NOT have that happening LOL! I think that if you do stand up a little straighter and put your shoulders back/work on your posture it will help, but either way you have nothing to worry about!

If all else fails, duct tape the offending skin down. That’s all it is, skinny girl. Skin.
