i've seen brides wearing cathedral veils at an CASUAL outdoor wedding. so i'm sure you are fine :)
Sounds like your veil is totally on par with your venue, but I don't think it matters. All your guests will remember is how beautiful you looked, not whether your veil was tecnically the correct/appropriate length for the venue. :)
I'd be wearing a cathedral veil to my outdoors ceremony if it weren't for my FI (he prefers shorter veils). Go for it!! I don't think it matters!

Is a cathedral veil too much for an outside wedding? My dress is very formal and the estate we are hosting it at is very formal but it's not quite a church. What do you think? does it matter?
