We are having a Catholic ceremony-no mass. My programs have been such an issue! I made the template, but my printer stopped working when i needed to print them. My MOH (sister) took over the responsibility, but is also having a hard time printing-I guess the program paper we bought was not good for her printer. She offered to keep trying, but the wedding a few days away, I dont want her to stress. How bad would it be if we dont have programs?

Eh, not a big deal. The only reason we even had them was to use a Vistaprint deal that was about to expire! It’s a wedding, people know the gist of what’s going on. 🙂 If it’s going to cause a lot of stress so close to the wedding, just skip ’em.

I don’t know the answer to this but I’m wondering the same thing whether programs are really necessary. I was going to make some but FI thinks they’re silly and I quote: “not worth killing trees over”. =P

We’re thinking of leaving out the program too…..as miss peanut says most people will know whats going on 🙂 a lot of people i know who got married recently left it out so i guess its not a big deal

I would say if you are doing a Catholic ceremony that most guests will be familiar with than you can skip the programs. If you are having a Greek ceremony where it is entirely in Greek and there are different customs that guests will not understand than you NEED programs. A Greek wedding we went to had none! Had no clue what was going on.
