Hey, your fiance counts as a friend, too. 🙂 I know that might sound silly, but it’s important to remember! He should be your best friend, so you’re not friendless!

I think the time right after you graduate from college is one that is awkward because everyone is busy doing their own things with new jobs, moves around the country or even around the world, and it’s hard to keep friendships up. I felt similarly about our wedding because I had to move to a new place to take a great job offer and have no friends other than my SO here. Remember that it’s all about the committment the two of you are making; while having others there is great, that’s not totally what it’s about. People wouldn’t elope or have very intimate weddings if that were the case.

As for his friends not liking you or thinking you’re weird, don’t worry- he is head over heels for you, so they’re going to love seeing how happy he is with you.
