Oh yea! We have family on both coasts, are both in the exact same program in graduate school, got engaged before going into school and are going to graduate 3 months before getting hitched. to top it off we may move back to the other coast before we get married...on this coast, meaning the last minute planning will be very, very last minute.
I'm with you - by the time we are married in August, it will have been more than 4 years since we got engaged!
I can relate. We also go to different schools - his is in the city we're getting married in and mine is about 2 hours away. Our date is a month after I graduate/move back to our hometown, so it'll be a stressful few weeks!
By the way, you're getting married on my 21st birthday!

i hear ya, we got engaged december 2008 and are getting married fall 2011 ( haven't even set a date yet. over 2 year engagement because my FI is finishing his residency program graduating 2010, then we have to save $ for a wedding because we are footing the entire bill. what makes it crazier is that we got engaged on our 10 year anniversary.. so we will be together for 12 years when we actually get married!!! nuts!

Thanks!! I hoping it (or a few days after) ends up being our "engagaversary" too! We're going to NJ and NYC for spring break and are leaving on my birthday and I have a strong feeling the proposal is coming while we're there! :)

My boyfriend and I started dating in 2006, a month after my nineteenth birthday, and he was the first guy I ever dated. He proposed a year later...but...
...we set the date for March 13, 2010.
We go to two different schools, plus one of us needs to be graduated and working full-time when we get married. So we're right on the cusp of two years' engagement, plus one more to go.
To top things off, I'm going to Orlando on another Disney internship this summer, so I'll be gone for three months, leaving some of the wedding planning in the capable hands of my MOH. And as soon as I get home in mid-August, I jump right into rehearsals for the fall musical and the December children's show, which is followed immediately by graduation, which is followed by the wedding three months later. Luckily, I've already gotten a lot of ground work out of the way in the past two years, but still...
Anyone else have a case of crazy timing?
