wow you sound exactly like me!!! My bf did this too! It was his bday and we were all out, and he was drunk and telling his friends all about it, thinking he was being quiet, meanwhile everyone could hear! I heard something about the spring and told him to shut up!! GAH
Aw, I think that's kinda cute that he's so excited he told you (even if it was whilst he was drunk!). At least you know it's coming!

And yes, I asked him this morning when we woke up if he remembers, and he said yes, and he meant it! He was all embarassed, but said he would never say something that serious to me, that he didn't mean!
lol...maybe I will buy him his favorite bottle of scotch soon...expensive...but it may be worth it for the information!! lol

Lol thats so funny but adorable... although does he remember he told you? If he does, there are chances he may think the "surprise" is ruined and shift the timeline. So you gotta be prepared for that!
OMG that happened to me too! Except his proposal slip came out during a fight. He said that he would propose within the next 2.3.4 weeks so now I'm just waiting here and hoping that its today!!! Valentine's Day :)
LOL! My fiance did the same thing :) Had a few whiskeys, which make him really chatty, and all of a sudden he's jabber jabber jabbering along about how we could go into the jewlery store to revisit my engagement ring but he might have some store credit right now. And then he clapped his hand over his mouth and ran downstairs like a little kid caught telling a secret!
They're funny boys, huh :)

So last night, my boyfriend and I were out with a couple of friends at bar and my boyfriend had a few too many beers. He very rarely gets drunk, maybe once every three months, if that. And when he does, he tends to talk A LOT. Well, last night while at the bar, we were sort of just talking together and he let it slip that he is proposing to me within 2 months. At first I was like "Dude, shut up, why are you telling me this!?" Like, way to ruin the surprise....
But now I am all excited and the anticipation is totally growing....
Anyway, he is an idiot, but I love him for it!
