so its 950+ posts here from GaBGal and it is just now that I have uploaded an avatar picture. I gues it just took me awhile to find the "right" one. So out of curiousity, why did you choose your avatar? We all know why the bees select their "Bee" Name & icon... what's your reason?
As for me, the hot air balloon is actual of a hot air balloon ride FI and I took in 2004. And yes, if you squint REALLY closely or zoom 1000+% in you can see us in the balloon! We are using this photo as our save the date "postcard" too.
Before the wedding I had the bride avatar that I created on brides.com because it was a fun cartoon representation of the bride i was about to be. Now its my favorite wedding picture!

Too cool! I'd love to go on a balloon ride. I had just noticed that on one of your posts "hey GaBGal has a pic - yay!".
I picked mine because I love the color combo, I'm a "seaside girl", and the flower floating reminds me of my best friend on her wedding day. :)
Mine before I was Miss Frenchie was Cherries b/c I was AliCherri1... it just fit.
@happilywaiting -- hehe I know! So many posts I read and I just don't even read the name but look at the picture and I know who it is lol... I figured its about time, before I become a Bumble Bee!

I typed "burgundy" into google image search, and this was one of the first results! I was actually thinking burgundy like the wine, but didn't want to steal Mrs. Pinot Noir's icon!!
I'm actually on my 2nd...my first was a pic from the wedding, but after finding the sweet Simpson's character-builder on the Simpson's movie website, I decided to use the one I made there awhile ago.
Mine is a picture of some Black Eyed Susans I took at my fiance's familys farm (whew! Say that 3 time fast!). I love floweres and it is one of my favorite pictures.
It is Mr. FF with one of our sons Buster Brown. He had gotten brand new gear and was modeling it for me in our living room. So of course I made him let me take some pictures. It is my favorite picture of him and Buster together.
I love our engagement photos so much and I jump at the chance to use them wherever possible. :) Love the hot air balloon, too.
In my pre-Bee days, I was craftypants. My avatar was a little animated version of me from my Yahoo! account. Not terribly interesting, I know. :o)
@GaBGal: I'm glad that you now have a "face"! I noticed the new avatar immediately today.
Mine is...a photo of me at my cousin's wedding last year. Very creative, I know. 
My photo is our cat! I chose "ATBride" because my FI was off thru-hiking the appalachian trail while I was beginning the wedding planning process.
I chose "Lexatron" because it's what my FI's Transformers-obsessed four year-old nephew calls me instead of Lexie. I love it when he talks to me about our wedding, because he always asks, "So, after you and Uncle Colin get married, you'll be Auntie Lexatron???" So cute.
My picture is just a random picture of me from a photo shoot with an aspiring photographer friend of mine.
Mine was a picture of my maltese (Andy), but I decided to change mine to one of me instead :) Who knows, it may be back to being my dog tomorrow.
Wembly is my favorite Fraggle. :)

Mine is my manga. I think it looks just like me only cartoonish... I put a cross on my chest because of my profession... I thought about changing it, but it works!

My sn for any message boards I am on has always been Mermaid. My initials are MER and that screenname goes back to AIM in high school.
And I think this little mermaid avatar is cuuuute ... although I wish she was a brunette like me!
SN was inspired by my favorite kind of weather. I am currently in TX suffering through 100+ degree temps and hating it.
My avatar/pic is a photo of me and Mr.Rain on one of our earlier dates. We stepped into one of those photo-boothes and this was one of the 4 images that came out. I love it :)
Mine is what came up when I googled "appleblossom" - they are my faovrite flower, and our yard was filled with blossoming apple trees at the time I joined!
Oh and to explain my "name"... Gab is nickname of my first name but BGal was a nickname of FI in college. His cousin started calling me Gabygal -- sounds like abigail -- so my Bee name is GaBGal (so it supposed to sound like Gaby Gal but includes FI's nickname too with my oh so creative spelling!)
Well, my is pretty self-explanatory, but I will explain it anyways :-D
My SN is who I am, obvously. I am an Alpha Xi Delta.
The pic is of me and Mr. thisismeTKE (Tau Kappa Epsilon).
Name is a take on my old gamer handle- I would have used my normal one, but at first I was concerned with identity concealment, but obviously the avatar means I'm no longer that concerned :P It's me and the FI just after our engagement.
Mine's our engagement picture. I chose it at first for its anonymity, but now that i've been such an avid contributor, I've been considering using a real wedding pic. But, I dunno, the black and white one is very me by now and I think i'd be tougher to find right off the bat =].
ejs4y8: I wish you wouldn't change it... to me its one of the most recognizable avatars!
I don't have an avatar... maybe I will once I get my ring?

i changed mine to "wife" when we came back from our wedding/moon.... the pitchfork theme was a nice touch i thought :)
My screen name was the very first thing I thought of when I joined the site. I sometimes wish I had spent some more time being creative, but such is life. The leaf avatar is an actual grape leaf from our friend's backyard. He scanned it and now it is sort of our wedding logo. It's on the STDs and will be on invites and programs and such.
So I just changed my pic so I thought I'd tell you about this one. This is before we flew to Vegas. We were walking away from a store and a friend behind us took this pic of us. This is probably one of my favs. I love it!
I agree - I think its weird when people change their avatars from having them so long, most of them are so recognizable that it would be like "oh my god where are you" lol no panic!
Mine is a picture of me taken at Bed Bath and Beyond wearing the sample Snuggie! Eww..imagine how many bodies have been in it?? I am giving a thumbs up because I am just goofy like that!
My moniker is Natalie with a k, I have no idea why I did that, but I've been using it since high school. The pic was taken by my fiance and the entire one is a really cool fish eye lens picture, it's my favorite of his (not just because it's me!). 
It's us on our wedding day as we walked out of the church. We got to the bottom of the stairs and just kissed, I love it!

before I was a bee my name was joylucero, just because I used that everywhere else and my avatar had the illustration I made of us - The one I used on this post - I know! I was so not interesting lol
My avatar picture is the FI & I sharing a kiss at Walt Disney World in front of the castle on the trip where he proposed! 
I tend to creatively change my avatar pic a lot though, so I'm sure it will change soon! ... maybe to my puppy!
I think you all know what mine is....You may not know however that I took this picture on my birthday last year while enjoying champagne in the Champs de Mars w Mr. Paris. The Eiffel Tower is no longer blue, it was only for one year...
