On the first day of class, I go around the room, and I have each student introduce themselves, and use the first letter of their first name to come up with a word that describes them. It’s a great icebreaker and bonus…it helps me remember their names! What say you bees? Want to give a go?
I’m Tabitha and I’m…
Trouble 🙂 Now you!
(If you don ‘t want to give your name, you can just give the word 🙂 )

I do this with my class too on the first day, but I am mean and make them remember the ones before them as well. I always use my last name which starts with an H, so I am healthy!

Oh, that is a good idea!!! Only, I teach HS,(usually jr and sr) so they usually know each other for the most part. What grade do you teach Mz. Healthy?

Aaaahahahha, This SO reminds me of my first day of College. It was orientation…
Ok….funny story time…
My first day of College, new freshman had to take an orientation before the semester started. Well, we were split up into groups of about 20 where we were toured around campus, taught about certain groups, what the campus had to offer, etc…
Eventually 4 of the groups came together in a large lecture hall for a class about the dangers of substance abuse and how Freshman were really vulnerable to alcohol abuse.
Before my orientation leader (who I thought was TOTALLY hot the whole time) started the lecture, he had us play this game. By the time they made their way around to me, all the good R’s were taken so off the top of my head I said, “Raunchy Rachel” and the whole lecture hall busted up laughing.
Fast forward to three or so months later…
My orientation leader (the hottie) came into my work and I recognized him and said, “hey, you’re jolly Josh!” And he said, “Oh I remember you…” lol I was like, “Oh yeah, what’s my name?!” And he was like, “Raunchy Rachel!!” Well…..needless to say he remembered me and later became my boyfriend (now ex), but it was a funny story. Good times….
So yeah, I’m raunchy Rachel.

K is hard!
Kind—not always I try
Klutsy? often, but not enough that it defines me.
Knowledgeable. I’d like to think so.
Kinky? hmm…not so much, still waiting for some inspiration so I guess not.
Kooky. yea, no. Maybe so but I hate that word. It makes me think of dorky camp counsellors who dye their hair with kool-aid and don’t shave their legs.
