are you getting your husband a present on your wedding day or do you think the wedding it's self is a good gift?

I am really curious because I am considering getting a pocket watch with engraving. I am not sure and I need to decide soon.

I was thinking cuff links.  I like the idea of a pocket watch because it's something that will last for a long time and will always remind him of the special day.

I went back and forth with the gift idea, but decided to do it! I too am getting my FH a watch with a note attached to it saying "Don't Be Late!" He needs a nice watch because he would never buy one for himself so I thought this was the perfect oppurtunity for me to get him one!

I'm a writer and my FI and I are both amateur photographers, so I'm composing a Blurb book of the best photos we've taken since we've been together with several essays detailing just how much I love him. :)

Until I thought  of that, though, I wasn't even going to bother getting him a gift. Heh.

I went back and forth on this.  My FH would never wear a watch or cuff links so those are both out.  I decided to do a "little black book" for him for boudoir pictures.

I love the idea of the photos! we both do underwater photographer and he's just much better than I am...not to mention a better camera. However, he has all the photos on his hard drive. But I think at some future point I will use this as a gift idea for him.

We're doing small gifts and giving them to each other on our honeymoon.  I got him some nice cologne that he liked in the store and a UV Ray T-Shirt.  (We're going to the beach and he gets burnt easily.)  && I can't wait to smell the new cologne on him on the honeymoon ;)

We weren't going to do anything, but then he said he got me something. So I got him a monogram robe to relax in, and I also found a collectors addition nutcracker (he collects them). This nutcracker plays music and moves, and it has an engraved on the bottom Prince Charming, that was the name of this particular one. I thought it was so sweet so I had to pick it up for him

Originally I was going to do a coffee table book of our planned trip to the Serengeti.  We had to scale back our honeymoon, so now I don't have a great plan.

I was thinking maybe a Kindle, but that seems super-pricey to me, and besides I want something classic that won't wear out.

We decided not to do gifts. We are both paying for the wedding ourselves so this would be an added expense before the wedding. We agreed to nix the gifts and splurge a little more on spending $ on the honeymoon - maybe even buy something we each really want while we are away.
